Since the property has a pool it would have been nice to have beach towels. Directions for the oven would have been helpful. The bed pillows need to be replaced. The location was good and we enjoyed the pool.

Lovely weekend break for myself and my children. The room was spacious and light-filled with serene views of the coastal scrubland from the window and balcony. Huge bathroom with double showerhead and the jet bath was a plus. Lana has thought of everything so it was an easy and relaxing weekend away. Beach across the road, great cafe's and shops walking distance. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean and spacious, with beautiful surroundings and the beach right next door. The large swimming pool and kids’ play area were perfect for families. Shopping centres were conveniently just 10 minutes away. Most importantly, Lana & the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Enjoyable

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location - so close to the shops, restaurants and beach. The apartment had great facilities and it was nice to have access to the resort’s pool on the hotter days.

Perfect weekend getaway

We had a lovely weekend in Torquay. The property was lovely, even bigger than I had imagined. The check in and check out process was easy. We walked to the cafes/restaurants everyday. Would highly recommend this as a weekend getaway.

Wonderful Studio in Torquay

I loved this stay in Torquay! It's got a fantastic view from the floor to ceiling windows of the green space and feels very private and secluded. The unit has everything you would need for a short or longer stay like I did. The amenities and grounds are lovely as is the location. And the host was very accommodating and responded quickly. Highly recommended.

Was slightly disappointed with the beach access for someone in a wheelchair

Being the only resort on the beach and with a pool in Torquay has pretty much the only thing going for it

This resort definitely has a lot going for it with the indoor and outdoor pools and spa. Sorry to hear the beach access is not wheelchair friendly. Unfortunately this is not something we can control and is no reflection on our apartment. You would need to speak with the local council about this.

Torquay 285 was a great place to stay. My two teenagers and I fit in the studio perfectly and were surprised by how well equipped it was! Teabags, milk, coffee machine plus some pantry supplies were awesome! It was also my birthday when there and the owner had put in some bubbles in the fridge for me! Walking across the road to the beach and then to the pool was a bonus! Easy walk into town too! Great communication, awesome location and just a terrific place to stay!

February in Torquay

We had a fabulous stay at Torquay 285. The apartment is superb: amazing floor to ceiling glass windows and balcony overlooking a nature reserve; everything you need for a stay - even a washer and dryer and generous amounts of tea and coffee; and a lovely spec all in tip top condition. The resort is superb with a beautiful pool and spa as a sort of oasis in the centre, and then really good facilities such as a well equipped gym…and of course a stones throw from the beach. Highly recommended.

The apartment it self was a nice set up but there was just ants everywhere and the couch bed was very uncomfortable for the kids other then that is was ok
