Welcome to Panoramic View!

Light pours into this peaceful A-frame home on a park-like acreage with Gordon's Beach only a 5-minute walk away. Magnificent Gray whales pass by this home in the spring as they migrate to northern feeding grounds, returning in the fall. Roaming pods of resident killer whales can also be seen offshore, as well as otters, seals, and sea lions.

This cabin's open-concept kitchen/living/dining layout is ideal for celebrating and relaxing with friends and family. The full kitchen includes all the cooking and dining essentials, including a stove and oven.

In the living room, the cozy fireplace keeps you warm on cold nights. Step outside the sliding glass doors to catch the summer sun on the deck. Drink your morning coffee while enjoying stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and Strait of Juan de Fuca! Or, turn on the fire table to enjoy the deck at night.

The primary bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has a queen. A full bathroom with combination shower-bathtub is located conveniently in the hallway. All of these spaces are on the single floor, with no stairs required for access.

A ladder in the living room leads to the third bedroom. This bedroom is a loft overlooking the living room, with two single beds.

There are stairs leading into the cabin and a ladder to reach the loft.

This cabin can be rented on its own or jointly with Olympic View Cabin for a combined 12-person occupancy—a perfect option for large groups traveling together. If you’re interested in renting both homes, please inquire directly.

We were pleased with our stay at this cottage. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was appropriately equipped, and the interior was very clean. We enjoyed the view, but perhaps the outside chairs could have been better cleaned. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and felt it was well priced.

Perfect little place for an island getaway. The view was fantastic and all amenities close by. My kids loved the loft sleeping arrangements and a short walk to the beach to watch beautiful sunsets. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and the host was super helpful!

Lovely location form which to explore the area. We especially liked the sunset views and the very nicely stocked kitchen and comfy beds. The deck has a spectacular view - slightly less great is the traffic noise from the street below- aside for. That it’s a terrific place to stay!

We stayed here for a week during our kid’s summer camp, and it was wonderful. It’s less than 15 minutes from everything you need — groceries, restaurants, the EV fast charging station, Ed Macgregor Park, and the dock for crabbing. You can hear some traffic, but it didn’t bother us, and it’s relatively quiet at night and in the early morning. The view from the deck is fantastic — sitting outside by the fireplace, overlooking the ocean, stargazing, and listening to the waves was one of our favorite parts of the stay. The place is very close to the beach by driving, the road is too busy to walk with young kid. Stacey and her team are very responsive and attentive during our stay!

We loved our stay at this little A-frame in the woods! We managed to go in the off-season so it was a much needed, remote retreat for the 5 nights we stayed here. Sitting and enjoying coffee on the deck looking over the ocean and cooking a couple home made meals in the well stocked kitchen was a true delight. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away for some time.

The house was lovely, smelt incredibly clean, and had breathtaking views of the ocean. We were a one minute drive from the beach, which was great for kids and pets. The outside of the home and yard could use a little updating, patio chairs and outdoor living space is a must for beach front enjoyment. The house was clean and did the job, but we found it to be somewhat expensive for what it was. The hosts were very good at communicating and we had an overall good experience. The place does not have a dishwasher. The place was enjoyable and memorable. The home is slightly dated which is fine, but should be taken into account with the cost. Overall the house was very clean, cozy - we love Sooke and the hosts were good!

Amazing view and superb location

Great place to base yourself out of and very comfortable.My only issues were the steepness of the drive way off of the road which would be a problem in some vehicles and the lack of any external lights which made getting back after dark a real adventure and safety risk. The lighting was not addressed despite our letting the property manager know and was frustrating as they had a camera mounted outside but no lighting for guests.

This house, while a little old, has a ton of charm! The views are great, and it's out of town enough that you feel like you're really on vacation. There is another house near it, but we were never disturbed during our stay.The king size bed is a bit squeaky on the frame, but the queen-size one is nice and quiet. The host is fantastic and was SO easy to get in touch with, even though we got in very late, responses were immediate. I would definitely book here again!

Wonderful Spot near Sooke

I traveled with my two college age daughters. The cabin was perfect for us. Very quaint and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans and everything we needed to prep meals. We spent a lot of time on the porch using the propane fireplace. The area is just amazing. We visited 4 or 5 beaches and spent a day in Victoria. Would highly recommend this spot.

This is a very cute and functional A-frame. Views from the main deck are amazing. 2 things keep this from getting a 5th star. There's a window in the shower without any covering, which is viewable from the driveway area (shared with another home). Second, the bed and bed frame in the main bedroom are very poor quality. We rolled in the middle of the bed and the bed frame was the loudest piece of furniture I've ever encountered. Host was good responding to coordinate arrival, but didnt answer my question once we took possession of the home.
