This warm and cozy cabin is located in a quiet, serene setting off the beaten path with awesome views of the Zigzag Mountain range. You will be surrounded by towering tall trees reaching up to the sky on 3 private acres close to Mt Hood National Forest trails for summer and winter fun. However, you may never want to leave this peaceful and relaxing cabin.

This recently remodeled cabin is ideal for a romantic couple’s retreat or for a small family with 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed plus the full bathroom. The spacious great room has been completely remodeled keeping the vintage fir floors and massive fir beams maintaining mountain ambiance, but adding all new kitchen cabinets, counter tops and appliances for modern comforts. The living room area includes satellite TV and a land line phone (no wifi and very limited cell service).

Enjoy the backyard deck with the mountain views while you grill dinner on the gas BBQ and enjoy your meal at the outside dining table. Roast marshmallows for dessert while you sit around the firepit sharing stories of the day’s adventures around Mt Hood. You will want to end the evening with a relaxing soak in the private, outdoor hot tub. Your dog is welcome to join you at the Firwood Cabin for an additional charge.

This is a dog friendly property, maximum of two pup(s) allowed. Please keep your pup off the furniture (including the couches, chairs, and beds) and pick-up after your pup.
All cleaning policies meet or exceed CDC standards and recommendations. Our team wears new masks, gloves and shoes covers each time they enter home to prepare it for a new stay. We clean and disinfect all hard surfaces and high-touch items such as appliance handles, light switches, door knobs, remote controls, etc. We also clean and disinfect all dishes/glassware, silverware, bedding, towels and other linens as well as tubs and toilets. Meredith Lodging has added the extra measure of a pre-check-in inspection to make sure all of our cleaning and disinfecting procedures are complete and to our standard before you arrive.

Once it passes inspection, your home sits empty until you arrive for your contact-free check-in. Additionally, if your home features a private hot tub, rest assured it is disinfected, treated and cleaned thoroughly after each departure so that you and your guests can enjoy it with peace of mind during your stay.
