We were traveling through the area and wanted a convenient stop to visit Mammoth Cave NP before hitting the road the next day. Our stay was brief but it was perfect! We couldn't have picked a better location. The unit was clean, spacious and super close to the park. We were traveling with our dog so we appreciated the grass space for her to stretch her legs.

We loved this condo. It was a great space for us. The only issue was that some of the lamps were missing bulbs.

Not sure why the cleaning fee is so high as we had to strip beds and place bedding in front of the washer as well as the towels. The house was close to the road and surprisingly the road was busy during the night despite the remoteness of the property.

The Brownsville Retreat was lovely and easy to get to and from during our excursions out into the area. The kitchen was nicely stocked for light meals. The road noise was more minimal than I expected. Neighbors were quiet and courteous. I would certainly stay here again.

Lovely place

My wife, dog, and I stayed for a week. The place is in good proximity of Mammoth Cave NP and Bowling Green. You will have to drive a few miles to find much, but overall it is a great place.
