Country of woods, water, green hills. The beauty of its landscapes and the richness of its heritage will surprise you.

Location perfect,quit,near shops(by car), bedrooms and bathroom perfect, kitchen well equipped, living room good although furniture little bit outdated. Owner explained everything very well and very supportive.and the view at the back was great.must go!

Stunning house, the pictures almost don’t do it justice. Just wish we had been able to stay longer. Great location for French/Belgian border with lots to see within an hours drive.

Spacious and very complete house

Had a really good stay here. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating during checkin and checkout. The house has plenty of room and is very equipped. It is located on a quiet street. Some nice places to visit in the vicinity are Bouillon and Orval.

Lovely house. Clean and very well provisioned. Perfect base for exploring the forest as well as wider exploring in Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. Much larger than it looks, comfortable beds and chairs. Slightly disappointed that it is marketed with a fire, but fire wood locked away and owner was dismissive when we asked if we could use it. House warm and cosy though. We had a great week there.

Beautiful property, peacefully, private and very well managed

The property in Williers is situated in a beautiful peaceful little village, perfect for escaping into the countryside and the local area (the Orval abbey is only 10 minutes away) While there are no amenities in the village (Florenvile is only 5 minutes drive away) it is a perfect base to explore the area. The only restaurant/bar in town is at the bottom of a very steep hill so be prepared to walk off the food and beer. The property itself is beautifully renovated and contains all the modern equipment a family would need from Wi-fi and smart TV through to a well Stocked modern kitchen. The balcony has a private view over the forest and is perfect for peaceful family evenings Upstairs takes the renovation further where the characteristic old house is much more modern with 2 huge bathrooms and 3 large bedrooms all very minimalistically decorated and tasteful (including the visible stones of the cottage, some with fossils in the wall). Catherine and Arthur are excellent hosts and very friendly. They couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and help out and were on call for any problems (the removal of a wasps nest being the only issue we faced which Arthur dealt with speedily and friendly) All in all and excellent cottage, well maintained by a very friendly and courteous couple

Great for WWI and WWII

A well located property for exploring the Ardennes and both the WWI and WWII historical sites, especially Verdun and Bastogne. The property was a great size in a beautiful quiet village location, with a lovely aspect out back. Sadly (and hence the 3 out 5), it lacked in a few areas, mostly just in attention to detail. A cluttered kitchen which lacked things like a bread knife and large sharp knives for food prep, and due to clutter was not as clean as should be. No visitor information pack, so no emergency numbers, doctors or nearest pharmacy, shop etc or instructions for things like washing machine. Communication prior to arrival was poor, and we found the parking in listing to not be quite as suggested, and the mentioned garage doesn't seem to be for use. It is a very quiet location so not a real issue. Plus we found internet to be almost unusable, we couldn't even do wifi calling. If these were addressed it could easily be 5 out of 5. Still worth it as it is a well priced property in a great quiet location, and these issues are easily addressed. Nether the less we had a lovely time and enjoyed staying at your property.

Das Haus war grundsätzlich in Ordnung, allerdings entsprach weder die Sauberkeit noch die Darstellung in der Anzeige dem erwarteten Standard. Die Badewanne war voller Staub und Haare, zudem hingen viele Spinnweben an der Decke. Der Kamin war stark verschmutzt und nicht nutzbar, obwohl er auf den Bildern sauber dargestellt war. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass kein Kaminholz vorhanden sei, später stellten wir jedoch fest, dass auf dem Hof in einem verschlossenen Raum Holz gelagert war. In der Kaffeemaschine befanden sich noch alte Kaffeepads, im Kühlschrank standen angebrochene Lebensmittel. Die Küche war zudem stark mit Gegenständen zugestellt, was auf den Bildern nicht ersichtlich war. Zusätzlich war das WLAN sehr schlecht und kaum nutzbar.

Vielen Dank für den sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem besonderen Haus. Die gut ausgestatte Küche, das Wohn- und Esszimmer sowie die Terasse mit der wunderschönen Aussicht strahlen ebenso viel Gemütlichkeit aus wie die neue obere Etage mit den sehr bequemen Betten und den neuen Badezimmern. Eines davon hat so viel Platz und einen so schönen Ausblick, dass ich es an einem Regentag zum Yoga nutzen konnte.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, auch Dank der sehr netten Gastgeber!

Ein großzügiges, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus, eingebettet in dieses hübsche, kleine Dorf in den Ardennen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl dort gefühlt. Zudem war die technische Einrichtung auf dem neusten Stand. Von dort aus kann kann man tolle Ausflüge sowohl in Frankreich, als auch ins benachbarte Belgien machen. Sehr empfehlenswert!
