If you enjoy historic homes, this is the place to rent. But, it had all we needed for a modern day setting. The host was delightful and communicated with us with little or no delay if had a question, both during and before the stay.

Adorable historic cottage
Absolutely loved staying in this adorable historic cottage. Every detail was perfect. Our kids really enjoyed the rope swing and seeing the animals from the farm next door. All of the decor was purchased from Crossville antique shops and was so cool. We loved all of the pictures and plaques that shared information about the Cumberland estates. The house was clean and so cozy. No notes! Thanks for a great stay ♥️
Waking up to deer, donkeys, roosters and yaks was quite an experience. Great, historic place, within 25 minutes of some excellent golf courses. Highly recommend renting if you're staying near Crossville.
The property was lovely! Very cool historic property. We loved the yaks and all the farm animals, we especially loved the sweet barn cat, Naomi. The host was extremely helpful and friendly.
Wonderful historic home on a beautiful property. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The kids really enjoyed the yak farm next door AND the very friendly outdoor cat!
We had an absolutely amazing time. This was our 2nd year staying here and will be booking again as soon as we have the dates for our 2026 event we attend at Oaklawn Farms. Great house and great community. We love Crossville!

We loved the historic home and will absolutely come again. Naomi, the resident hospitality cat, was one of the highlights of our visit. Host are responsive and very kind.
This is the second time we stayed here and enjoyed it very much. Our host was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the Yacks, rooster , and donkey! It's in a beautiful setting, we would go there again.
This adorable historic cottage was the perfect home base for a Mom/Sisters getaway! Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, surrounding ranch, animals and flora, as well as the great host made for a memorable few days!
This is an absolutely magical place that takes you back in time. It is beautifully kept, stunningly decorated, and amazingly peaceful. They have anything you could need during your stay and everything is so well done. My daughter and I stayed here for a gymnastics camp she had and I so enjoyed the serenity with a portal back in time. The history here has been so beautifully preserved. We will definitely be back next year.
This was a wonderful place to stay! So many positives!!! Came for a wedding but the house made it feel like a vacation! The rope swing and the house made it over the top!
