The Rocky House is a unique getaway 5 minutes from the town of Golden. Escape to this private cabin tucked away on our quiet property, and enjoy both forest and mountain views. We are 15 minutes from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort with year round outdoor activities. Also less than 5 minutes to the Golden Skybridge (Canada's highest suspension bridge), Purcell Heli Skiing & multiple rafting companies. Easy travel to Mt Seven mountain biking, Bugaboos climbing and many national parks.

You will stay in your own cabin that sleeps 2-4 people including a loft-style queen bed upstairs and pull-out couch in the living room. Also includes full kitchen, bathroom, and bar-stool dining area. Lounge on the the private patio and enjoy gorgeous views of the Purcell Mountain range, fully equipped with a mosquito net and BBQ! Or, cozy up inside by the wood-stove and watch the hummingbirds, deer, read a book, or play a board game. Fire wood is included and free parking on site.

Additional baby items are available upon request. Outdoor burning of any kind is strictly prohibited including fireworks. No smoking indoors but ash trays will be provided outside if required.

Beautiful private location close to town

The cabin was very cozy set on a beautiful property with mountain views. It was a very short drive to town as well as easy access to three national parks. The host was so helpful with local information as well as allowing us to store our bikes in her shed. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore the area around Golden.

One of the best views we've had while staying in a cabin in the Golden, BC area. Nice, quiet setting and a relaxing porch to take it all in.

This was such a nice property, the pictures matched exactly and it was very clean. Location is close to everything in golden and the host communication was great. Would highly recommend!

The location was perfect for us. We loved having a cozy cabin overlooking the mountains. Since it was quite hot outside, we opened the windows at night and the cabin cooled off nice on the main floor, but there was no window in the loft (just a ceiling fan) so we were uncomfortably hot most of the night. The beds were both very comfortable and we would definitely come back:)
