We had a great time in NOLA - which is hard not to do. The location of the place was just great for us, close to the French Quarter, but even closer to Frenchmen street. John did a great job communicating and checking in after our stay. And although we didn't need much, the on-site staff was always nearby and friendly.
The inside of the place was tight space-wise, but it was 5 bedrooms, the beds were comfy, and the outside area was a real delight. It was great to hangout on by the pool or in the hot tub or in any of the great outside conversation areas. 100% would stay there again.
I took my recruiting staff in my 17-year-old to the Prudhomme Chateau for the Workboat Convention November 29 through December 2. You have to see this place to believe it. Rich history, and so artistic. We actually had a butler, Wilson, and he made the stay perfect. They accommodated everything we needed. And we enjoyed the hot tub that was waiting on us when we returned from the convention center. And someone was there to assist us in finding the best places to eat and go in New Orleans. Great neighborhood, safe. They even gave us a timely warning about the parade trapping us downtown so we were able to avoid it. It wasn’t super roomy but it served all of our purposes. We will definitely come back.
The host attempted to have us sign terms and conditions outside of VRBO that were never disclosed in VRBO and were in direct conflict with the rules / terms that were listed on the rental at the time of booking.
Even though VRBO told me not to sign this under any circumstances, the host insisted and refused to let us in. We had to book a new place at the last minute. The listing is also completely different than it was described. It is a living community with tons of other guests in the common areas.
Horrible, shady listing and host. Do not book
