A very quiet but accessible spot. The house is very sparsely equipped, although the kitchen is fairly well stocked but a number of the pots and pans were very dirty). So other than kitchen utensils, bring anything you need with you! But a very comfortable base for a quiet weekend exploring the aread.

Peace and quite was what we wanted and we got it at "The Dunes" Venus Bay. Perfect getaway for a couple or a small family. We had good phone and T.V. service, that was not a problem. Please be reminded that Venus Bay is on rain water only so water conservation is a must. The property manages, "Venus Bay Short Stays" were very helpful courteous and polite. I am sure you will enjoy your stay at "The Dunes"'.

Not What It Appears
Very average experience. Property was poorly cleaned, dried blood on walls from mosquitos, dishes with caked on dried food, floors looked like haven't been mopped in a year, could go on...
The property manager offered to send cleaner to rectify, but just not what you want on your honeymoon, after the fact is too late.
House is very poor build quality, none of the internal doors have been fitted properly and not bothered to fix. So none actually close, will randomly open at all times day and night as bolt doesn't align with jam.
Heater works, hot water no issue, has a bath on the plus side. TV is very dated, but also works, just standard commercial TV + old DVD player.
Some very basic small pots, frying pan, oven, electric stove, microwave, fridge again all working!
Would avoid.
