Come unwind in your slice of paradise non West Vancouver Island. The Applebnb is an immaculately-clean 4 bed/5 bath holiday home. Perfectly equipped for larger groups & families, with half an acre of manicured gardens. Enjoy stunning views across the Juan de Fuca Strait to the Olympic Mountains.

Perfectly situated on West Coast Road, between Sooke and the best local beaches.

INSIDE:

All 4 bedroom suites in this 3500 sq/ft home are very spacious, with luxury mattresses and the softest linens. Most suites include wood stoves, outdoor patios, and ensuite bathrooms with big relaxing indoor jacuzzis to enjoy.

Downstairs living room has a new pull-out couch, and a flatscreen Smart TV (Netflix + Prime Video) with sound system. The main living/dining room upstairs is warm and inviting, featuring beautiful tall wooden ceilings, a fireplace, and beautiful views over the ocean & mountains. Dining table seats 6-8 people, and converts into a mini table-tennis table. There is also a kitchen table.

Kitchen is fully-stocked for all your culinary needs, with a family-sized fridge + freezer, induction stove, dishwasher, and breakfast nook area. Another great space to gather and make memories.

To make this your ideal "Home Away From Home", we provide all the info & essentials you'll ever need:

- Various board games, Jenga, etc.
- Extra single mattress (plus linens)
- First aid kit, car jump battery

OUTSIDE:

Walk out to a massive 500 sq.ft deck that wraps around house, with even more panoramic views of the ocean & mountains. Includes a new propane BBQ grill, and plenty of outdoor seating/table areas to enjoy together.

The downstairs Garden Suite has a patio with extra seating and another propane BBQ grill.

Across the driveway we have a picturesque lookout area under the leaning "Trust Fall Tree", featuring unique views over the ocean, Sooke, and East Sooke. It is without a doubt THE ideal spot to watch the sunrises and sunsets, with a warm beverage in-hand.

Out back, you'll find a half acre of well-manicured gardens to explore, featuring the "Help Yourself Herb Garden", various driftwood sculptures, and a furnished gazebo where you can find peace & relaxation.

Enjoy full access to the home and gardens, the entire property is 100% yours to enjoy and is fully private.

The property is 75% fenced around, with tall cedar bushes for privacy.

Locked areas: Upstairs Storage Closet, Garden Suite area, and Outdoor Workshop.


OTHER DETAILS:

This is the whole-property rental, but if you're for something smaller or budget-friendly , we do also offer the option of separate VRBO listings for the 3bed/4bath Main House or the Garden Suite.

Driveway / Vehicles: The shared driveway entrance coming off West Coast Rd is quite steep, but can accommodate most vehicles. Please note the parking lot & driveway is not big enough for campers, RV's, duallys, etc.

This rental has 4x assigned parking spots. Please let us know if you have more than 4 vehicles.

Sensitive septic system: Flush only toilet paper and natural waste. Dispose of wet wipes, feminine products, and coffee grounds in the provided waste & compost bins.

Wood Stoves: Only for use in winter, one duraflame log per stove is provided.

Tiffany’s place is a few minutes walk to the beach with a beautiful garden, terrace and BBQ area. The place is huge - we had a great stay!

Sooke Christmas Family Gathering

To have the family in Vanc and my family on the island get together in one place for Christmas was very special. To be in a lovely warm spacious home where we all could enjoy ourselves in a gorgeous west coast location was the topping on the Christmas tree.

A great getaway!

This VRBO is awesome! Lots of room for 8 adults, a bathroom for each couple plus one more. The kitchen was very well stocked. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. We loved our stay here and i would highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a larger place to rent. 5 stars all the way around!

This is a great property that is very well-maintained and clean with a gorgeous view. It has large bedrooms with comfy beds and bathrooms with good water pressure and nice wash products. The upstairs has a cozy living room area with lots of seating to hangout in and has a great view. The property is close to amenities and beaches. I would not recommend walking to the beach that is 5-7mins away because you have to cross and walk on the lip of the highway. I would have appreciated being told in advance there was a ring camera that would be monitored by the owner during our stay.

Fabulous place

This place is great , very clean , large rooms, great view from the deck. The owner has gone above and beyond To supply everything, there were more kitchen appliances then I have in my own kitchen ! Otter point getaway

This property gave my family plenty of room to enjoy it get together. It was very generously stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our weekend, including tea,coffee and spices. The kids and dogs had room to Play in the garden. There was also good wifi, games and puzzles for quiet times. View Of the Juan de Fuca amazing!!

Family trip with Grandma

Lovely property by the water. Great views and short drive from town and to local sights. House is clean and very well stocked. Owners are very considerate to make sure all the comforts of home are available. Only issue that may come up is the accessibility of the beach; you have to make a dash across the highway between two blind curves and the path down is steep and single file. It was hard for grandma to do without help and no way you want to bring a bunch of beach stuff. 4 stars because of beach and older home needing some updating but otherwise wonderful stay!

A slice of Sooke Special

Gorgeous property and one of the best equipped rentals I’ve ever had. House layout is fabulous, water views stunning, the garden and grounds are beautifully maintained. It had everything advertised. My only suggestion was some screens on windows as the upper level gets quite hot (however the host provides a small air conditioner and fans) but the mozzies love all the beautiful foliage and we couldn’t leave the windows open. It is a perfect family hangout with comfortable beds and lots of soundproofing. We rented the entire house and guest suite (beautiful space) so it was very spacious.

Magical property in Sooke

The Applebnb was quite simply one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. There were eight of us (with six adults and two children) celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and the facility was perfect for our needs as everyone had their own space. Arrival and checkin was seamless and the house was spotless. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with everything needed and a good supply of spices and supplies. We spent a lot of time on the expansive deck overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca with the mountains of the Olympic peninsula in the distance. There was also a sitting area on the ground level where we sat, had our happy hours, and read. Communication with our host Tiffany was excellent and responses to questions was almost immediate. This was an incredible experience in an incredible place. We would return in a heartbeat.

Amazing property with many extras!

This is by far the most beautiful and accommodating property we have ever stayed at. The house was very clean and laid out well for multiple families. On the property there are multiple lush gardens and even an herb garden that you are welcome to use. We saw wildlife such as deer, rabbits and even a bald eagle. The view of the ocean is incredible from the balconies and big open windows. Throughout the house there are many extras provided that are above and beyond what other hosts usually do. Here are some: 5 gallon filtered water, snacks, drinks, coffee, extra toiletries, spices for cooking, beach towels, live plants in almost every room. There are beach trails in walking distance and it's conveniently located close to Sooke but far enough to enjoy the quiet. I highly recommend this property and host. We will definitely stay again when we can make it back to Sooke!

Great place, great host

We had a family reunion last weekend to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday, and we couldn't have chosen a more perfect location. The property was simply stunning, and we all instantly fell in love. It was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, showing the host's thoughtful touch throughout. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kids had a blast with ping pong, board games, and a great selection of books. The rest of us enjoyed bonding time through walks in the gorgeous garden, BBQs, and conversations on the patio overlooking the mountains and ocean. There are beaches and lighthouses to explore nearby, and the fact that Victoria is just a short 40-minute drive away is a bonus. The daily visits from rabbits and deer added to the charm of the place. Tiffany, our host, was amazing. She was always available and promptly responded to our questions and requests even in early mornings. We highly recommend this vacation home for a truly unforgettable experience.
