Comfy cozy cabin pictures make it look a lot bigger but I feel like that’s a normal thing now. Perfect little get away for a family of 5 right on a point on the lake. Even though there is next door neighbors it feels very private and secluded. Would definitely stay again

Stayed in this property for one night has our son's fishing team had a tournament on lake. This property was perfect for us. Good location on the lake and the owner was great. very accommodating for our group to allow us to stay past our check out. very good cabin feel. Thank you!

Beautiful spot on the lake, and the cabin was comfortable and relatively secluded. The water had too much algae for swimming but the kayaks were great (though one of the paddles was broken, and best to bring your own PFDs). The kitchen had everything we needed. Had a great, relaxing stay.

Great cabin on a good lake. Caught a few fish off the dock. Bummed there wasn't the hammock like the picture, but all the other outdoor furniture was great to have. Cabin met our needs just fine. Loved the sun room! Definitely if you stay in the area, you've got a check out the Swap Meet. So much fun!

Father Son fishing trip

All as advertised in working condition with great spaces for indoor/outdoor living. This home is the definition of Minnesota Lake Living.

Was not happy with the accommodations, I was expecting something a little cleaner for the price. The swimming area was so bad we couldn’t even enjoy that, and we all wanted to swim. I thought the picture showed a nice swimming area. Also thought that would be good since they had kayaks but we did not want to step foot in that water it was very weedy. The grill was so dirty that we couldn’t use it. Bathroom was so small and cold, shower was dark and yucky. The vents were so dirty I hate to think what we were breathing in. So many items they had available but we couldn’t use, water dispenser and hot tub. No instructions on how to use tvs cause we couldn’t find any remotes that would work and weren’t sure if batteries were in some of them. It is a cabin for men and not a women’s retreat place. Place was very musty smelling and kitchen light would randomly turn on. Things were not turned on so we had to try and find outlets to turn lights on.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. For clarification, the listing notes that the hot tub is not available for guest use and that while a water cooler is provided, guests need to supply their own water. The property is located on a natural lake with over 300 feet of frontage, so water and vegetation conditions can vary and are outside our control. We take the concerns regarding the grill, vents, and cleanliness seriously and would have been happy to address them during the stay if we had been made aware. We’ll continue reviewing these areas to help ensure the property is properly prepared for future guests

Slow No Wake

This is a great getaway. The house sits on the point of a peninsula with beautiful lake views from the deck or lounging room. Lake Augusta is a beautiful spot, great for paddle boarding or kayaks. The boating isn’t heavy and the wind does have much effect. The cabin is beautiful with a touch of rustic and comforting. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful and Relaxing!

We had our “Sister Weekend” here. The weather was nice but a bit too cool and windy to kayak or fish. Fortunately there were a lot of games there for us to enjoy. The cabin was clean and well furnished. Great views from the table we sat at playing games.

Weekend Getaway

We had an enjoyable family weekend getaway. The cabin was perfectly located to give the feel of privacy. The private beach was sandy and provided plenty of activities for everyone. The kids enjoyed fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. We ere able to enjoy a fire by the lake and make s’mores. The 4 seasons room off the back of the house made a great hang out spot when it rained and had a beautiful view of the lake. The neighbors were very friendly as well.

Simple but little cabin for our family. We loved our stay. It’s located on a the end of a peninsula so you have a LARGE grassy yard and lots of waterfront. There is also a very nice little beach for my boys to play easy entry for kayaks and paddleboard. Dock was clear enough of seaweed and sandy enough to swim. We played football frisbee and caught a ton of sunfish, bluegill, perch and bass (with worms). On our rainy day we enjoyed the many board games provided in the cabin. The enclosed patio was perfect for dinner/games and view of the lake. Furniture and beds were comfy. Only downfall was the water isn’t drinkable. Or at least not recommended as it’s not filtered. But the owner let us know of this and we simply bought bottled/jug of water.Recommended for couples/small family!

The cabin as well as a great dock for our boat, was very accommodating for our family which included 3 adults & 2 kids. It had everything we needed for our 5 nights. Our host was responsive on one very minor issue as well as the neighbors who were kind & gracious. Thanks to these neighbors, we had a front row seat on the dock for July 4th fireworks from directly across the lake. Lake Augusta was beautiful (little green from algae) and together with Clearwater Lake, gave us a wonderful 3-1/2 days of water & boating enjoyment.

Great location on a beautiful lake with excellent fishing right off the dock! Car port a great asset, with plenty of room to store fishing gear outside of the living area. Kitchen nicely appointed, and lake view from dining table just beautiful. Great little getaway vacation!
