The house was super clean and very well equipped. It was just as described and in a quiet neighborhood from which we were able to walk to the centre of town, the waterfront and the university.Nice decor
The house was very clean. It had all the amenities we needed, The location was excellent - in a quiet neighbourhood yet very close to downtown with all its stores, restaurants, antique markets, harbour etc. The owner was friendly and helpful.
Nice and quiet neighbourhood, other than the occasional dogs barking feom next door. Comfortable rooms. Minor issues were creaky floors and loose handles on cooking pots. Easy walking to local areas, and very scenic drive to explore Prince Edward County and 1000 Thousands.
Pricey but worth it. The house has a light and bright interior and is located in a lovely neighbourhood. It is immaculately clean and attractively furnished. The old hardwood floors provide warmth and the ceramic tiles in the kitchen and washroom add a professional touch. The kitchen and washroom provide everything you might need. The private backyard is well furnished for outdoor entertainment. All-in-all, it's an excellent place to stay.
Quaint home with good location to downtown. Things you should know: The knobs have been taken off the bath tub so it isn’t functional, when I requested they said no; mildew and mold in bottom of shower; there is a wooden floor throughout the house that is horribly noisy, if you have noise sensitive people in your group, this is not the place for you. Overall aesthetics are pleasant, there are some items that need tending to upgrade.
The house was lovely and has everything one would need. I would have appreciated knowing there was a unit below, we kept hearing noises and were a bit concerned because I wasn't aware there was another unit below untill Friday, almost called the police, we thought someone broke onto the basement. Also consider doing some maintenance on your outdoor space, it is not at all as advertised. it was extremely overgrown and unkept even cutting the grass might help with the mosquitoes. oh and you might want to remove the picture of your jet tub off the website if you're not allowing patrons to use it. After a 5 hour drive I was looking forward to a soak but the tub had no taps.
Fantastic place to stay! The pictures don’t do it justice. Very cute and nicely decorated. Super clean! Great communication with owner. Easy check in process. Great to have off street parking, uncovered in driveway. Nice neighborhood, close to Skeleton Park and easy walking distance to Queen’s University and downtown. Very close to Princess Street and lots of fun restaurants, shops and bars. Has everything we needed. 2 nice sized bedrooms with eat in kitchen, comfortable living room with large extra dining table which we used to play cards. Quiet and pretty backyard to relax in after long day of exploring. Very clean, large bathroom with instant hot water, nice shower and a soaking tub. Honestly, everything you need plus parking and a great location. I would definitely stay here again if returning to Kingston. Highly recommended for a small family, 2 couples or two singles.
