Spring Break getaway

We have been to Siesta Key multiple times and this was the best. Great location to walk to the beach or the village. Plenty of space on the inside and the pool is a must after hot days at the beach. Great communication. Would definitely book again if we come back.

Wonderful stay!

We loved staying here. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was situated perfectly as it is walking distance to town where there are many adorable and delicious restaurants and a short walk to the beach too! We will definitely come back.

Cute beachy bungalow

This place is great! Really convenient location about 5 min or less walk to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Marko was flexible with us on check-in as our flight arrived early. It was also very easy to communicate any questions or concerns. Would stay again!

Great location. Highly recommended!

Rad’s Cozy Cottage was a welcome retreat for our vacation. The location allowed us to walk to lunch or dinner...basically close to whatever we needed. We easily settled into this cute cottage that was clean, tidy and well appointed and we enjoyed the heated pool and putting green! Marko was always responsive to any of our questions and we would highly recommend this lovely property!

Fantastic home-perfect location!!

Amazing beach house-perfect location! Home is beautifully renovated and has the perfect "beach" feel. Great location between beach and town- we never had to move our car, just walked and biked everywhere. Marko and Kellie are great and made us feel right at home. Bike rental option and beach amenities provided were perfect, and their food suggestions spot on! Wonderful vacation! We look forward to staying here again!!

The perfect beach getaway!

Marko and Kellie's place was one of our favorite vacation experiences. The space is absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable. The location, central to the beach and to Siesta Village, make it the perfect spot for a special beach get-away. They supply everything you need and so much more. They are easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to stay with them again.

Perfection!

We came to celebrate our friends 40th birthday and this was the PERFECT property. Such a great location, we walked to breakfast and dinner spots multiple times. Short walk to the beach as well! House is beautiful and has everything you need. Property manager responds almost immediately to any questions and is always there to help. We’ll be back for sure!

Loved Rad’s Cozy Cottage, 5 stars!

This property was amazing for my family of 5. The backyard was great (pool, mini golf, outside shower) the house was clean and very cute. The location was walking distance to beach, only a few short minutes. Also right near the grocery store and liquor store. Property owner was in communication and accommodating. Nothing bad to say at all. We throughly enjoyed staying her and would stay again!

Classic Elegant Beach Cottage

What a gem! This house was perfect for our family vacation. Just steps from both the beach & village - everything is close by. Great care has been taken to transform this original cottage into a comfortable beautifully decorated modern home. We enjoyed the private pool & dock on the canal daily. (My son caught a fish the first day) The owners are attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to return!

Everything needed for a lovely getaway!

Rad’s Cozy Cottage was beyond our expectations! Upon entry we were incredibly and pleasantly surprised! The cottage was renovated very tastefully and is beautiful! The cottage had all amenities and supplies necessary to enjoy a lovely stay. And the private pool was such a bonus! We had a glitch with VRBO as far as not getting check-in email but the managers/owners were amazing at being available to help us get us situated. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment from the accommodations and amenities to the pool to the perfect location and lists of things to do and see! Definitely would stay again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you Marlo and Kellie for offering this cozy and quaint house for others to share.

Rads cozy cottage is amazing!

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations! Newly renovated, clean, comfortable and a great backyard with putting area, pool and outside lighting. Can’t say enough good things about the property manager Marko! Easy to work with, available, helpful! A beautiful basket and a greeting card awaited us upon arrival. The location is one of the highlights! 2 blocks to the beautiful beaches, 2 blocks to a great town with live music, shops and great restaurants. Also has a private dock as we were across the street from the canal. Fun watching the fish jump! We loved this place and will return! Another highlight was a 4 hour deck boat tour with Capt Casey. Don’t miss this. Call him at 941-928-0434. He will even pick you up at your dock. One of the best places we have stayed!

Piece of Paradise

This home is exactly as described, but even more wonderful in person! It was a perfect layout for our family (2 kids under 6), comfortable beds which can be hard to find, and the location can't be beat. We were able to walk to downtown Siesta Key in less than 2mins and to the beach in less than 5mins (kid speed even). The backyard pool was ideal for the kids and hot days taking a break from the ocean. Neighbors were respectful and we had no issues with noise during our visit, and were even able to get Walmart delivery for the weekly groceries. Communication with Marko before, during and after our trip was seamless and he provided a lot of recommendations specific to our needs, especially with My Captain Casey who took us out for a day on a pontoon boat to see dolphins and find seashells. This place is a little piece of paradise (that I almost hate to share with others). We highly recommend this home and Marko for your Siesta Key vacation!!

Wonderful home

My family and I stayed for 4 nights in this wonderful, centrally located home. The home was spotless (complements to the cleaning staff) beautifully decorated and bright. The welcome package was a nice touch and included a bottle of wine and multiple snacks. The kitchen had everything we needed including a blender and coffee maker. The pool was a hit with the kids as well as the adults and we were able to use all the pool toys that were available. Although we did not go to the beach much due to the weather, it was just a 5 minute walk. Siesta Key Village was also 5 minutes away and there is a market a couple blocks away from the home. Marko was very attentive getting in touch with us a couple of times during our stay to make sure we were doing ok. Soon after we left, Marko informed me we had left a bag behind. He was able to send it back to me and was received 2 days later (Marko thanks again). I would definitely stay again in this home.

Great trip!

The house is in a great location right by downtown and a short walk to the beach. There was great communication with the host and check-in was very easy. The pool heater was not working for the first couple days of the trip but Marko made a call and had it fixed as soon as possible.

This is our fourth trip to Siesta Key from Iowa and I must say this was by far my family's favorite stay! The private heated pool, the location, the attentiveness of the owners and managers made this a trip to remember. Was having trouble with my phone so did not receive the check in information on my phone but with a quick text the information was at our fingertips. Their attention to detail, from the care package, to the soap, and pay it forward approach to the kitchen was refreshing after coming in from a later flight into Tampa. We will definitely be staying here again!

Always a Great Experience at RCC

This was our third time staying at RCC and it just gets better every year! We have two children, ages 1.5 and 7, and the house had everything we needed - a pack and play, beach toys, pool toys, etc. We had to skip last year’s trip due to the pandemic so this was our first visit since Marko put in the putting green and half bath and both were welcome additions. We love the location of the house, we never rent a car and can walk anywhere we need to go - beach and restaurants. We’ve stayed in many Vrbo’s in many different places and RCC is by far the the cleanest and most comfortable rental we’ve stayed in. Marko’s customer service is top notch and we can’t wait to return for our fourth stay!

Location -- and much more

Yes, an ideal location for our first visit to Siesta Key, we walked to the beach and to the market and restaurants at least once each day, 7 minutes tops (for even we two 70 year olds!). But Rad's Cozy Cottage experience was much more than that. We were able to prepare breakfast and dinner with a kitchen fully stocked with quality pans, sharp knives, utensils, and that hard-to find vacation rental amenity: LOTS of silverware, plates, and glasses. The pay-it-forward concept was ideal for us. We checked in before the major big shop to Publix and found a sweet welcome basket, and things we normally would have to buy for a 10-day stay: olive oil, sugar, condiments in the fridge, herbs and spices, coffee filters, jams, etc. etc. Then made a short 5 minute walk to Morton's Market in North Village to get us through breakfast the next day so we could catch the sunset! Every day we used the bikes for a ride through the quiet residential area across the street, the super clean heated pool, and the new putting green (which JB says was well crafted with some challenging breaks). Birders: There are at least 4 Florida Birding Trail sites within 30 min. drive and the walkable Siesta Key Beach is one of them. Snowy Plovers nesting around Beach Access 9! We only ate out for dinner twice, but lunch every day and recommendations from Marko and Kelly were 100% spot on. The "cottage" itself is perfect -- comfy beds, upscale appliances, beautifully decorated, lots of open light from windows everywhere, it was a joy to spend time inside as well as out. Spotless, thank you housekeeping! It's as if Marko and Kelly have stayed in vacation rentals themselves, found things lacking, and made sure they were available for their guests at RCC. They checked in via txt a couple of times to be sure all was well and answered several questions before we arrived. Best Florida vacation ever, and we've been going to various areas for over 5 years. We sure hope to get back to Siesta Key and that RCC will be available for us when we do!

We are a family of 5, with 3 boys that all love to travel. While I grew up coming to Siesta Key, Lido and Long Boat Key, we have found Siesta Key still offers the Island experience, Voted #1 Beach, and you never have to leave USA. My wife and I have spent 30 years traveling, capturing what we liked best about all of our vacations in hopes to parlay some of those ideas into a hobby/passion for others to enjoy. We welcome you and your family to enjoy a very special place.

Why they chose this property

While we love new homes and all the amenities new construction or newer homes offer, in a "world of sameness" we wanted something different. Something that resembled the character and emotional connectivity many of the tropical island properties used to deliver. We have been looking for what we define as an amazing property that will eventually deliver greatness. One of the few properties on Siesta Key that has it all, history, a dock, canal access, short term rentals, close to the village, close to beach, plenty of parking and the open concept floor plan. This is it!

What makes this property unique

1,500 square feet, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, large rooms, the amazing 3/4 inch solid wood siding, original Pecky Cypress walls/ceilings and large double lot. Close to everything including the beach, canal, village and free public transportation.
