Welcome to Uncle Joe's Bungalow!



Conveniently located in beautiful East Hill in the heart of Pensacola, this charming 1940s cottage is the perfect home for your next trip to the area. This home is situated in a quiet, family neighborhood and is close to several parks, restaurants, breweries, grocery stores, and food trucks. You will love all of the beautiful oak trees and scenery around East Hill. This home is situated on a large lot with plenty of room for the kids and dogs. Enjoy all the amenities of home with the whole place to yourself. With 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a queen sleeper sofa, this cottage will comfortably accommodate 6 guests.



The home has been completely restored and updated while maintaining the original character. The kitchen has been fully modernized with new stainless steel appliances, granite counters, updated cabinets and backsplash. The bathroom has been updated with a new vanity and gorgeous tile walk-in shower. There is new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. This home is the perfect mix of yesterday's charm and today's amenities.



The backyard is the perfect place to hang out with the family and have meals under the pergola lights, play a little corn hole, or sit around the fire on chilly nights.



Bring your furry guests along on your trip since it is also pet friendly. *Note - there is not a fully fenced section of the yard.* There is a non refundable $100 pet fee for each pet. This fee will be added to the booking after the reservation is made. We reserve the right to restrict size and/or quantities of pets.



This home is also ideal for business travelers with free high speed internet/WiFi and in home washer and dryer.

Really nice and charming home with plenty of comfortable seating, dining space and decently equipped kitchen for cooking meals in. Plenty of parking and very quiet and safe neighborhood. Walking distance to a great dog park for my shepherd. Homeowner was very communicative and responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

East Hill Getaway

We had a wonderful time with our stay. The house was very clean and cozy and well stocked. It's super close to a great park that our kids enjoyed playing at and walking our dog around. It was a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back!

Wonderful vacation rental in charming East Hill neighborhood

Great vacation rental located in the charming East Hill neighborhood. Perfect for our family of three and little dog. Easy access to 17th which takes you directly over to Pensacola Beach, quick drive yo downtown and wonderful neighborhood for walking.

Family Vacation

Our family spent a great week at Uncle Joe’s Bungalow. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It is in a quiet location with easy access to the beach, 15-20 minutes Publix grocery stores, movie theater and downtown. There’s also a playground across the street if you have kids. We watched the Pensacola Blue Wahoos play in the nearby stadium and also visited the Aviation Museum and watched the Blue Angels perform their aerial routines. I would recommend Uncle Joes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd stay at Uncle Joe’s Bungalow. The house had everything we needed, comfortable beds, adequate dishes, towels, very clean, etc. East Hill is a great neighborhood, very quiet and friendly people. We will definitely be back again!

Home away from home

The owners were great. Enjoyed our stay very much. The area was close to everything we wanted to do. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. Plenty of little streets with little to no traffic to walk our dogs. The house was beautiful 😍. If we come back down i hope they let us stay again!

We will stay again. The location was great for a family. Park one block awayand a great area to walk. House was very clean but has been recently remodeled and could us a few touch ups. Landscaper came to beautfi the front and the company contacted us to let us knwo they would be there.

Summer Getaway

I really enjoy my stay so much that I didn’t want to leave. The house was perfect! Just the right size for a family of three and 2 dogs. The house was clean and fully furnished with all our needs. My favorite room was the sunroom. Great for morning coffee and prayer time. The location is perfect too. Anything you need was a 5 to 10 minute drive or bike ride away. The area is very accommodating to cyclists. You even have a park just a couple of houses down from Uncle Joe’s. Both my dogs were able to get their daily/nightly walks in. It also has a playground, basketball court, and baseball field. Plus, Pensacola has some of the cleanest beaches I’ve ever seen and beaches that aren’t crowed. Some fav places to eat were Hot Spot Barbecue, Aunt Katie’s, & The Reef. My family and I give Uncle Joe’s two thumbs up. Missing Pensacola already.

Temporary Housing

We are local and rented this property while our home was being finished. This is a pet friendly property which we were so grateful for, it is incredibly hard to find pet friendly stays. The description states this property sleeps 6, however the beds in each room are extremely small (and unsturdy/uncomfortable), and the bathroom is hardly big enough for one person. The vanity sink is very small, no toilet paper holder, and your feet go in the shower when you use the toilet. Being a pet friendly property, I’m sure cleaning is a challenge but the amount of rugs throughout the house that have not been cleaned make it feel much dirtier than it probably is. This home certainly cannot comfortably accomodate 6 even in the living room there aren’t 6 seats. Again super thankful we were accommodated but if I rented this space as a vacation accommodation I would be sorely disappointed in the gap between the Vrbo description and reality.
