Lovely house with great historical significance, close to the fort and beach. We had a great stay with our young adult children and their friends. With kitesurfing, tennis and excellent seafood restaurants in the area our active holiday week was a success! The house could benefit from some more comfortable outside furniture to read and relax.

Bon accueil par Sandrine.La maison est trés bien située, elle a un réel charme, belles vues sur la mer.La maison est bien équipée pour cuisiner. Possibilité de stationner à plusieurs voitures et mettre à l' abri des vélos.Séjour satisfaisant, seul petit bémol la déco est vieillissante, l éclairage indirect (abbat-jour des lampes) et mobilier sont vetustes. Nous apprécions le charme de l ancien mais en bon état.Toutefois je recommande ce lieu chargé d histoires et présentant un bon rapport qualité prix en comparaison de ce que l'on peut trouver sur le secteur.Malgré un Noël bien froid, le chauffage et la cheminée ont bien fait le travail. Pour nous ce fut un bon séjour(5jours)

Séjour de rêve malgré deux petits couacs

Une superbe demeure historique, de charme et de caractère, agréablement décorée, dans un petit écrin de calme et de verdure, au centre d'un des plus charmants villages de la côte d'Opale, à quelques minutes de la plage et avec une vue dont on ne peut se lasser. Que demander de plus ? Peut-être, d'abord, qu'on fasse réviser la régulation de la chaudière : c'est un peu désagréable d'avoir 24°C quand on en demande 19 et pas d'eau chaude pour la douche un jour sur trois. Ensuite, quelques casseroles et poêles fraiches seraient les bienvenues dans la cuisine. Enfin, la note de 3/5 concernant la propreté ne vise absolument pas la personne qui assure le nettoyage entre deux locations ; elle ne pourrait pas faire mieux en 5h. Mais un (très) grand entretien (propreté, rangement, petites réparations...) ne ferait pas de tort. Que tout ceci ne vous fasse toutefois pas hésiter : ces petits défauts ne sont absolument pas de taille à gâcher le plaisir de séjourner dans ce lieu extraordinaire.

ein wunderbarer Ort

Wir haben dort mit 5 Erwachsenen im Alter von 26 bis 62 eine wunderbare Woche verbracht. Am Ankunftstag wurden wir von Sandrine herzlich empfangen und durch das Haus geführt. Sie hat es auch möglich gemacht, dass wir alle einzelne Oberbetten bekamen, obwohl in Frankreich es ja eher üblich ist, bei Doppelbetten eine gemeinsame übergroße Bettdecke zu nutzen. Danke! Das sehr alte Haus und das umliegende Grundstück hat inklusive der Einrichtung genau den tollen Charme, den wir uns erhofft hatten. Die Küche ist groß und sehr gut ausgestattet, wir haben mehrfach gekocht und gegrillt. Der Ort Ambleteuse ist klein, aber es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Einkaufsmöglichkeit und auch diverse Restaurants. Der Strand ist naturbelassen und wenig/nicht touristisch erschlossen, was uns besonders gut gefallen hat. Es gibt Teile mit Felsen und Kiesel, aber links von der am Wasser stehenden Festung auch Sandstrand. Das Haus liegt etwas höher, so dass man von allen zum Wasser gerichteten Fenstern einen fantastischen weiten Blick auf Strand und Meer hat. Der Weg zum Strand geht bergab und dauert ca. 5 Minuten. Empfehlenswert ist ein Besuch in Wimereux, v.a. auch des Marktes jeweils Freitags. Auch die beiden Caps - hier v.a. das Cap blanc nez haben uns fasziniert. Es war ein perfekter Urlaub - wir kommen sehr gerne noch einmal wieder. herzlichen Dank an Philippe-Arnauld Ducatillon - wir wurden bestens auch von ihm im Vorfeld der Reise betreut

Das Haus ist für einen Aufenthalt mit zwei Familien sehr zu empfehlen, für Personen mit Handicap allerdings weniger, weil die Schlafräume und Bäder recht eng sind. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Die Atmosphäre und der Blick auf's Meer sind phantastisch.

Face à la mer...

C est une belle bâtisse avec de l espace, avec tout le materiel de cuisine nécessaire quand on veux se faire plaisir à table et la vue surplombante qui donne sur la plage ,les dunes que l.on peut voir de toutes les pièces de vie et plusieurs chambres, du bonheur ! Nous avons passé un excellent sejour en famille dans ce très beau lieu et cerise sur le gâteaux : une météo qui nous a permis de profiter tous les jour de la plage à 2 pas du logement : les enfants et les grands étaient ravis. Une maison familiale de caractère, de charme, avec de l'histoire

Très jolie maison avec un grand jardin clos (avec des arbres pour se reposer à l'ombre) , très sûr pour des enfants. Une grande table en bois nous a rassemblés pour les repas à l'ombre d'un grand parasol et nous avons profité dune table de ping pong. Beaucoup d'espace dans les pièces de vie ( cuisine, salle à manger, salon). Accueil et service au top avec Christine et Sandrine qui sont adorables. Excellent séjour. Laurence et Luc
