*NEW Relaxing Beach Cottage, 3 King Beds

Completely rebuilt in February 2023. Relax with the whole family at Seashell Cottage, 2-min stroll to the pool & most beautiful beach in the Caribbean!

Stay at my well-equipped 3-bed bungalow: king bedroom w/ensuite; 2nd bedroom king or 2 twins w/ensuite; 3rd flex bedroom/office/den w/king or twin daybed. Modern kitchen for gourmet meals at home. Day trips to swim with the pigs, feed the rays, dive, snorkel & explore the out-islands!

The space
Seashell Cottage has an all new light filled open concept kitchen/living/dining, with a 55" TV, and a comfy sofa. The primary king bedroom has an ensuite w/shower, the second bedroom has 2 single beds that can form 1 king bed, also featuring an ensuite bathroom with a bath/shower. The cottage offers a flexibile 3rd bedroom/office/den that has a cozy single daybed that can be converted to a king. There is also a fold out office table for 1 or 2 people in case you need to keep up with your work responsibilities. A lush private patio includes seating, dinning & BBQ Grill.

Guest access
You'll have full access to the entire beach cottage and patio space. You're only a 2 min stroll from the large heated pool area, spectacular beach & stunning turquoise waters. You can also relax and have a sunset coctail at the observation deck, over looking the white sandy beach and peacefull sea of Abaco!

Other things to note
We can arrange a private chef, catering services, private boat hire etc. Anything we can do to make your vacation even better, just let us know!

There are 4 restaurants nearby: Cafe La Florence, the Pavillion Restaurant at the Bahama Beach Club (both walking distance), Sunset Pizza and Treasure Sands (both a golf cart ride away). A few shops are just a 5 minute stroll from your villa, including a small grocery/convenience store, Café/bakery serving casual meals all day and a small liquor store.

We suggest you buy your groceries from Maxwells' Supermarket in Marsh Harbour when you arrive, as the selection there is best.

Please Note: Treasure Cay is continuing to rebuild after Hurrican Dorian and some local amenities are still not available.

Please just be aware that you may occasionally experience some modern discomforts (power outages, water pressure losses, or insects (we do monthly treatments) but they are usually short-lived.

Lastly, please note that any damage to the property inside or outside, furnishings or decor will be billed to the renter.

Great place, as described. Owner was very helpful in planning trip and the house is very well appointed w items needed for a great vacation. We recommend highly. If you want to get to other islands we enjoyed the ferry service but a car is needed to get to the ferry’s. We especially enjoyed our day at Green Turtle Cay pre rented a cart for day there and was able to easily explore entire island -swam w sting rays and turtles at Cocoa Bay, shopped, and had the original Gumby smash at Miss Emily’s Blue Bee Bar - so good. The Beach and pool area are perfect as well. Enjoy

Close to the beach

The property is very well taken care of. We had a great time. The beach within walking distance is beautiful. Make sure to make reservations at restaurants for dinner as options are limited and they fill up quickly.

Always a good area

Great place for business or vacation. Quiet, clean, safe....Though 45 minutes from Marsh Harbor it is my go to place to stay for my monthly business visits. Would be a great place to vacation if I had the time. This place was excellent - newly upgraded - would recommend it and definitely stay again.

Amazing

The property was exactly as advertised! The beach was stunning and the pool was wonderful for our boy! He made friends there which added to the pleasantness of our stay. Being right across the street from the bakery and mini mart was super convenient. We definitely recommend Italian night at the Bahamas beach club!

Great Spot!

My wife and I stayed here for 15 days. The villa was perfect for us. The villa was newly remodeled and was laid out just right. The master bed was comfortable, which tends to be hit and miss in most rentals. We got good use out of the kitchen and the outdoor dining and furniture. The location is good both on the island and in the neighborhood. It only takes about a minute to walk to the gorgeous white sand beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay at Treasure Cay, it was very relaxing. The condo is beautiful and very clean, we loved the outdoor patio area. The beach and pool access is awesome. The island is still recovering from Hurricane Dorian so make sure you have flexible plans when it comes to eating out and buy your groceries in Marsh Harbor. Just to note, the water for the condo complex had low pressure or was intermittently off at times (likely due to island recovery); this surprised us a little but the host was very responsive. Just keep this in mind if you are planning laundry times, etc..

Refresh your soul!

Great villa! Clean and updated. Amanda was awesome in communicating and arranging our taxi and golf cart. Bring cash, you’ll need it. Supplies are limited. Cell service and electricity were sporadic. No local hospital or post office. Still recovering from 2019 hurricane Dorian. Sad to see the devastation but encouraged by progress and resilence of locals. Wonderful people!Perfect for enjoying adult time on beach or pool. Very safe. Bring a good book and refresh your soul!W

Beautiful Villa…Beautiful beach

We love coming to Treasure Cay and absolutely enjoyed staying in this beautiful cozy cottage. Amanda, the owner, was super helpful, kind, and quick to reply to any of our questions. Her place is immaculate, beautifully decorated, super clean, and just a two minute stroll to the beach. Plenty of beach towels in a basket by the front door, was a nice touch. Plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and cold a/c were greatly appreciated. A bottle of Chardonnay in a welcome basket and carefully placed sea shells on the master bed were touches that make this place memorable. Thank you, Amanda for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. Till next time, Tad and Luli

Peaceful and Perfect

I couldn't have found a better spot to stay in Treasure Cay! The beach villa is beautiful, reliable wifi, comfortable and full of amenities. You can't beat a two-minute walk to the picture-picture paradise Treasure Cay beach and the neighborhood pool. It was so peaceful and quiet. My family loved staying here and I hope to get back again. The laundry room (with washers and dryers at 3 each per use) and drinking water station (1/gallon) are next door to the house. Very convenient, especially with the villa having a washer. Sunrise Point was a nice spot for snorkeling and the Bahama Beach Club has a nice bar & restaurant. The only hiccup was confusion on the correct door code but we were able to access the villa with only a short delay. Also keep in mind, as Amanda has noted in the description, Abaco still experiences power outages since Hurricane Dorian. The power did go out several times during the week, sometimes for several hours, so a bit inconvenient but expected.

We loved it!

Completely new little villa with plenty of room for our little family get away. Seriously all appliances, beds, couch, chair, the entire place brand new. About 2 very short blocks to the pool and beach. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, plus chairs, umbrellas already setup and available no extra charge. The salt water pool was nice, water was warm. This area of the island is pretty remote due to hurricane Dorian, some places are being renovated. Buy groceries at Maxwells in Marsh Harbor for the week. There’s a small market down the road from the villa but pretty expensive. Go to Florence’s and get cinnamon rolls for breakfast, they are the BEST! Pro tip, bring bug spray with deet for the beach. Thank you for a wonderful time, we will be back!!!

Bahama trip

Our vacation was amazing. I was very impressed with the updated villa. Everything was new as described on Vrbo. The Beach Villas community is very welcoming and beautiful. The pool and beach are amazing. Since the island is still recovering from Hurricane Dorian there are less places to eat than stated below the listing. Some of those places are permanently closed. One of the big reasons I chose this place was because of the beauty but also the variety of places to eat. Do your research and google what is listed to check what’s open. Within a two mile radius there was Bahama Beach Club pool bar and restaurant, Sunset Pizza, and Treasure Cay resort restaurant which we didn’t eat at. Cafe closes at 5 serves all three meals if you want to eat early. We purchased food at the supermarket in Marsh Harbor and spent over 400 for 6 of us. Bring plenty of cash for taxis, ferry and golf cart; some places accept credit. There are places to eat on the other small islands that you make take the ferry or boat trip too. My girls loved getting the cinnamon buns at Cafe Le Florence. The mini mart was great for ice cream after dinner. We lost power two times but it came back on within 10 min. The water pressure sometimes was light. Overall the stay was wonderful! Felt like home away from home! Thank you Amanda for a sharing you beautiful vacation home!

Paradise is an understatement!

I could not say enough wonderful things about our host Amanda and her villa. From booking months ago up until departure Amanda has been the best host we’ve had when using vacation rentals. My husband stayed in these villas growing up so Treasure Cay holds a special place to him. The updates in this particular villa are wonderful and the pictures match what you see when you arrive. The kitchen is stocked completely with more than enough appliances, dishes, silverware, cups, etc. I’ve never stayed in a vacation home so full of things. The bedding was great, towels were great, patio furniture, there was a nice vacuum to get sand up (that was huge plus for me) anything you can think of she has thought! Amanda throws in special touches as well that just really made us feel welcome. We were able to be to walk every place we went (the marina and restaurants). So the location is prime and quiet. Everyone we encountered was amazing. I would recommend staying here over any other place on the island hands down. We are already booking for next year! We found our home away from home!
