Thanks for taking the time to review Coast Nest we appreciate your 5 star review! I’m sorry that you felt there was no privacy - this is actually the first time in 10 years we’ve had a guest mention privacy as an issue. Our whole property is fenced (3 sides to 1.8m high) with gum trees and beautiful landscaping. The photos don’t do actually the garden justice. The one side which I assume you’re referring to is landscaped with natives and has wire fencing, so you can slightly see down the neighbours side path which they only use for access (they are a delightful retired couple). This is actually shown in the backyard images. We also have our front east facing deck which is completely enclosed and landscaped as an alternative seating area.

Family weekend away

Stayed for 2 nights , 2 couples. Great layout with everything you need. Fire was cozy and short walk to beach. Very enjoyable stay

Had a fab time at Coast Nest, exploring the local area. Perfect for unwinding and taking a much-needed break. The house had pretty much everything we could wish for in a holiday house - particularly loved the couch on the back deck. The only thing missing was a large wok or pan for cooking stir-fry, but we worked around it.Would definitely come back if we decided to holiday in Cape Paterson again.

Relaxing getaway

Cute and cosy Costal nest. Location was ideal as it was close enough to walk to all Cape Paterson offers and far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. We would stay there again.

Perfect Getaway

Coast Next is a beautiful retreat to recharge yourself. The description is quiet accurate, very clean with everything you would need for a coastal getaway. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Home away from home

With all the comforts of home this is a great place to base yourself for a Gippsland holiday. Much of the area off peak season has dog friendly beaches and even a couple of off leash areas. Highly recommend this property if you are looking to just dial down and relax

Peaceful Retreat

Had a lovely restful stay at Cape Nest. The house was exactly as described with good amenities. The house had a number of different zones for relaxing and I particularly loved an afternoon nap in the hammock on the back deck.

Beautiful oasis

The property was super clean and had a great style. All the amenities were modern and in great order. It was comfortable and relaxing. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the serenity of the area. We felt so refreshed after our break.

Relaxing and well equipped house in a great location

The house and location were wonderful. It has a relaxing feel and a great deck area out the back to sit and read or have a BBQ. Nice easy walk to wonderful beaches and a great place to base yourself for drives to areas such as Phillip Island, Wonthagi, Inverloch and Kirrumburra. Was wonderful holiday for our dog too! Would recommend for couples or families.

Comfy Cape retreat

A great stay with lots of lovely little touches (nice hand wash, chocolate and sparkling water when we arrived, gorgeous linen and blankets). Very clean, comfy retreat and felt like being spoiled that we were able to enjoy somewhere like this with a dog! Thanks to Heather for making it possible on very short notice. We had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend.

The property was really nice and suited our family. The only downside was that the hot water ran out one afternoon and was not hot again until the following afternoon. The owner was quick to respond to our needs, by arranging a plumber asap.

Peaceful seaside break

Lovely house, exactly as described. Weather was unkind but we walked our pooch in between showers and read by the fire. So many books! There are also puzzles, toys and games if you have children.

Absolutely Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I have just spent three wonderful nights at Coast Nest. The accommodation was lovely: spacious, clean, comfortable with a well appointed kitchen with everything we needed. We really felt like we were staying at a friend’s home. Our Labrador had a wonderful time exploring the large, fenced garden. The house is in a great location, a short drive or leisurely walk to a great dog-friendly beach. We’d love to return sometime in the future.
