Our booking terms require issues to be raised on the day of arrival or the day they occur so we have the opportunity to resolve them while you are in-house. Regarding the phone call: the only supported contact channels are those provided in your booking portal and check-in/guest information. If an outdated or third-party number was used, we can’t guarantee who answered or the quality of that interaction. Feedback about communication is noted, but we do expect all contact to remain respectful on both sides. Based on your comments, this property may not be the best fit for your expectations in future, and we recommend selecting alternative accommodation that better matches your standards.

We take maintenance and presentation seriously, and the items you’ve listed (fan/remote, AC return grille, BBQ ignition, pool cleanliness, oven door, light switch covers, and outdoor/patio cleaning) are all being logged for review and rectification. Where issues arise during a stay, reporting them as you did is the right approach so we have the opportunity to attend to them as quickly as possible. A couple of clarifications for future guests: outdoor areas and pools can accumulate sand/leaves quickly in coastal locations, and some consumables (such as firewood/kindling) are not guaranteed unless explicitly included as a supplied amenity. As noted in our terms, we also cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of every item of equipment, but we will always aim to resolve reported issues as promptly as possible. Your comments about the property feeling tired versus the price point have been noted and will be raised with the owner. If a fully updated, “as-new” finish is essential, we recommend selecting a listing that clearly advertises recent renovation/premium upgrades for future stays.
