This was our third year staying at this cabin. We love the peace and quiet of the lake and the cabin is just perfect. Our hosts were wonderful. They clearly communicated everything we needed to know about the cabin so we could have a pleasant stay. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The real draw for us was the private dock where we spent most of every day swimming, paddling and watching the birds. It is truly a magical place.

The cottage was beautiful. Exactly as described and seen in the photos. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The lake was quiet and serene. The was some music from neighboring cabins but they kept it respectful. We would definitely come back again!

Mabel Lake Splendour

We enjoyed 6 days of pure beauty and peace in this lovely home at Mabel Lake. The hosts gave their place so much careful thought that we wanted for nothing. We will definitely be back.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this cabin. It has so many extra touches that elevate the experience…condiments, pancake mix and frozen cookie dough in the kitchen, hummingbird feeders, binoculars, etc. We love the quiet location. Our hosts were quick to answer any questions we had either before we booked or after we arrived. We hope to be back again.

A great vacation getaway.

We were so impressed with our stay. The cabin was so cozy but spacious, right on the water with our own dock and great lake view. Our hosts did a great job anticipating what their guests might need. So many extras were provided (spices, various kitchen appliances, books, games, lounge chairs, and so much more!). The lake is large so lots of room for speed boats, fisherman, kayakers and others to easily share it and the water is so clear. Definitely recommend renting this cabin to families or a get together with friends.

Paradise

Serenity lakehouse is a hidden gem. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy a stunning lake and incredible views. The cabin has well equipped kitchen to create gourmet meals as well as a top notch bbq. The beds have quality linens and are a bit too comfortable :) The views of the lake are to die for. The lake is the calmest lake I have experienced and enjoyed using my paddle board every day. I even fished for rainbow trout off of it! Overall a very lovely, relaxing place to stay. Thank you Bruce and Jo for sharing your lovely oasis with us!

Incredible in Every Way!

Mabel lake is a quiet lake that still offers all the fun of the bigger, more well known lakes. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing, SUP, and relaxing with friends and family in a stunning setting. The cabin itself is perfect. With wall to wall windows overlooking the beautiful lake, we felt like we were on the dock even when we were inside. Everything is clean and bright and modern and the hosts have provided so many little extras such as condiments, coffee pods, pancake mix and even frozen cookie dough so you can bake up some fresh cookies. Check in was easy and the hosts made sure everything was what we’d expected. We had a wonderful week and hope to be back next year.

Lovely place to stay on Mabel Lake

Description and pics are accurate. You will have everything you will need without having to bring all the necessities (tp, condiments, salt pepper, spice, paper towel, soaps...etc). Kitchen stalked with everything you will need. So many options to relax, at the dock or 3 different patios. The one thing I may recommend, if you have a 2 wheel drive car or just aren't comfortable on very rough logging road (which you will be on for 70 kms) is to take the extra time and go south to Lumby and north from there. We had a great time and would def. come back.

A perfect spot to relax and reset

The location and space was beautiful. We felt at ease immediately upon arrival and were all reluctant to leave when it was time to go. The hosts were quick to respond and communicated clearly to resolve any questions we had. We felt very welcomed and at home. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and the property has plenty of spaces for peaceful relaxation as well as connection with others. It is close to the Provincial Park and Marina. Despite some inclement weather and unforeseen challenges we had a wonderful time. There are many options for activities despite the weather. My friend’s 8 year old son said he would give it 11/5 stars! Highly recommend!

From the time that we booked, the communication was excellent. All questions were answered quickly. A description on how to find the house and how to gain access was provided. Arriving, the sights were breathtaking. The house was well kept. Once inside, it was clean with all newer appliances and an open concept with enough room for our group. On the serving centre there were some instructions to enjoy the house amenities as well as a welcome basket that contained snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, and some toiletries if any were forgotten. The house wifi worked well. This allowed for streaming tv and to stay connected. There were several board games and a huge offering of dvd’s and video games. The kitchen was stocked beyond expectations. There were enough dishes to not run low, plenty of pots, pans, utensils etc. Two toasters, cookie sheets and so much more. The cookie sheets came in handy as there were cookies in the freezer provided for us to bake (amazing gesture)The beds were comfortable and cozy. There were ample towels for inside and for the hot tub (yep, a hot tub with a view of the lake) There was a BBQ, and a BlackStone griddle hooked up to gas, so you could cook without running low. There was also a quant sitting area to have morning coffee/afternoon wine with a beautiful lake view. A covered cabana that had a gas fire table. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the sun. The amenities made you feel at home. This was the very best overall rental we have ever been in. 10/10
