PowderMonkey 2br/2ba+Loft - Ski out & PET friendly

This centrally located, pet friendly Powder Monkey unit offers one of a kind access to both the Basin and Western ski areas, as well as the village!
If you know, you know... Powder Monkey is in the heart of it all and you/your family won't regret staying here!!
First Floor:
As you enter the unit, you will be greeted by a mud room for all your ski gear. As you continue into the unit, you'll find the completely renovated, open-concept kitchen built to handle just about anything you can cook up! The large island includes seating for 6 and custom butcher block countertops. Heated flooring through-out the unit will provide a perfect ambient temperature. To the right is the first queen bedroom with an adjacent full bath, including a fabulous custom tile shower! The heated floors continue into the living area that includes a gas fireplace, custom West Elm couch, bike storage in the summer months and a brand new front loading w/d under the steps. Out the sliding glass door is a small patio with bench seating and easy access to the western territory!
Second Floor:
Upstairs you will find the loft area, complete with a twin over full bunk bed. The master bedroom is gigantic with a king bed, chaise lounge sofa, coffee bar and private balcony. The adjoining bathroom includes a custom tile shower and heated flooring as well.
Parking is free inside the gated Powder Monkey community. You will first need to enter the unit using the provided key code and inside the unit you will find 2 gate keys to gain entry to the parking lot. Please don't leave vehicles unattended in nearby lots or on the road for more than 10 min.

10/10 highly recommend!I stayed here with my family and 2 dogs for a ski trip. The house is very clean, decorated beautifully, and in an amazing location for ski in/ski out. The host was very quick to answer all messages and made our stay stress free! We will definitely visit again.

I didn't want to leave! This was prime location right on the slopes and very easy walking distance to the village and western territory. The place was extremely clean and very cozy. The owners were extremely helpful and very responsive. We will definitely book again next year!

What a great weekend! Unit was awesome- feet away from Powder Monkey lift, all the amenities you need, clean and spacious. We loved the decor with the perfect ski resort vibe. Our Golden Retriever loved the outdoor space. We’re already planning to our next trip.

Weekend Ski Trip

My family and I had a ski weekend here and enjoyed our stay so much. We were able to bring our fur family along and the added touches of towels and blankets for her were so nice. The location is the best -just feet from slopes, Power Monkey lift, local restaurants and the parking lot, which made loading and unloading in the cold quick and convenient. This spot is clean and the seating, spaces and beds are comfortable for some rest and relaxation after an active day. We've stayed everywhere up here, and this has been our favorite spot yet! Hope to return!

cozy, definitely pet friendly. upstairs bathroom has plumbing issue. It is causing the door to catch. we had only one parking key, not the two that were expected.

Great location and upgrades!

This condo was perfect for our stay at Snowshoe! The proximity to the lift and restaurants was fantastic and the high end upgrades to the unit were really nice. Large kitchen with plenty of seating for everyone. The bathrooms were really nice and the master bedroom had it's own fire feature and coffee station. We also enjoyed the balcony off the master. We really appreciate that we could bring our fur babies. Communication with host was always fast. We plan to rent this unit again for sure!!

Perfect place on Snowshoe Mountain!

We just had a wonderful 4 nights at this property! It was one of the best VRBO experiences....amazing communication with owner, clean, great beds, beautiful showers with good water pressure, way above average on supplies including paper products, garbage bags, coffee, salt/pepper, olive oil, dish detergent/dishwasher detergent, nice bottles of soap/shampoo/conditioner in each bathroom etc - so nice not to have to run out after first day to buy more. We had our dog there...there was even dog towels by the entry! Great space on deck and inside to store bikes/skiis and other outdoor gear...loved that there were so many hooks to dry things out and keep things ou to the way. Location couldn not be beat....right at the Powder Monkey lift (which for us was where the Downhill Southeast race took place so we had a birds eye view), next door to some restaurants and very easy walk to village. The owner really takes the time to think of the little things that make it a great vacation rental....we will definitely be staying here again!
