2 floors comprise 2 independent units (main and top floor), ideal for larger groups or families wanting to have their own private space but also share the entire property. Lakeside cottage with indoor outdoor spaces, comprised of large 2 covered deck. Lake and mountains views of Mont-St-Marie ski hill. Private access to lake and fire pit in the summer. The cottage is fully equipped, well located and has everything you need to be close to enjoy being lakeside but also close to the all the outdoor sports the region has to offer.

Lovely lakeside view

We really enjoyed our visit to Lac Ste Marie. The condo is well situated, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed trying out the paddle boards and soaking in the beautiful scenery.

The property was easy to get too, inside was very very clean, and had everything you needed for your stay (: the view was gorgeous, water was clean and fun to swim in! Beds were very comfy, and all appliances functioned well! Check in was easy and the owner was very quick with responding (: Overall would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Clean

Overall cottage was bright and clean. Owners responsive and friendly. Note though this is a two unit condo and you may have others staying during your visit. Also there is a lumber yard with construction going on right next door. Very noisy and not relaxing. Also condo is right in the village. If you want piece and quiet not the place. If looking for a family gathering and lots of property space then perfect.

Great location for Ski Weekend

Amazing views of the lake over looking Mount Saint Marie! The place was clean and cozy but the upstairs bathroom lock is broken and only has tape which lead to one of us getting stuck in the bathroom for a few minutes. A sign would have been helpful (or just fixing the door). Arrival was straightforward but a little disappointing we only had access to the top floor. Even though there was only four of us we were under the impression we got access to the entire home. Therefore 2 friends had to sleep in the same bed when the listing displayed more bedrooms.

The property is ideal for families and big groups and gives everyone enough privacy. We came for a family reunion. Waking up in the morning lighting the ornamental fireplace, drinking our coffee gazing at the fog on the lake was truly magical. The property is clean, everything works. Fully functioning kitchen and across the street from the local grocer. Ideal set up.

We are a young family raising 3 boys and a dog who love water sports and outdoor activities. We discovered Mont St-Marie over decade ago and call it our home away from home! Our property provides convenient access from the city ( 1 hour from downtown Ottawa), also lake front access to enjoy water sports, fishing or just relaxing on the dock. For those who prefer the outdoor sports, we are a short (5 min drive) from Golf Mont-Sainte-Marie, or Mont Sainte-Marie ski hill during the winter or world class mountain biking trails (Velo MSM) in the off season.

Why they chose this property

Guests will love this property due to it's proximity to the local amenities (public dwarf, community centre, park) local convenience / grocery store (walking distance) conveniently located in the heart of the quaint village. Once you've arrived you find yourself on a private large lot, perfect for outdoor games and relaxing with no neighbours on the right side.

What makes this property unique

The entire cottage is a duplex - comprised of 2 units (condos) upper and main floor - both have their own independent entrances, outdoor decks equipped with seating and bbq's. Both main floor and 2nd floor are fully equipped with 2 bedrooms, complete bathrooms, washer/dryer and complete kitchens. It is the perfect set up for large groups or families wanting to have their own private spaces but also share the cost and experience of sharing the entire lakeside property.
