Tropical Dreams has been very popular this season. Book early for 2019.
We’re investing in the future of Troncones and the planet by installing solar panels, low-flow toilets, and other environmental initiatives. Enjoy Troncones knowing that you’re doing your part for the environment.
Enjoy a private holiday destination designed for families or friends who appreciate the exclusive use of a beachfront home with a pool.
Into surfing? You’ve come to the right place. Punta Troncones is within walking distance. Saladita and El Racho are a short drive away.
A holiday at Tropical Dreams offers you the amenities you’re looking for and the value you’ll appreciate.
Located on half a hectare of beachfront property, Tropical Dreams offers over 4,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor living space. The two large bedrooms each feature a king-size bed and a spacious en-suite bathroom. 11½-foot ceilings accentuate the interior space. It’s ideal for a family, two couples, or a couple seeking a truly private holiday.
Local tiendas and a weekly farmers’ market have everything you need so you can start your day with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, tea, and fresh fruit—all in your private kitchen. Enjoy your breakfast while watching the sun rise over the foothills of the Sierra Madre from one of the patios off the kitchen.
Later, your housekeeper will arrive to clean, make your beds, keep the floors clean, and generally maintain order. Don’t worry; she won’t intrude on your privacy and will be gone in a few hours. The groundskeeper will maintain the property two or three times a week and will be on his way as well.
Get ready for the day in one of our two oversized bathrooms, each with a toilet, shower, and twin sinks set in seven-foot-long worktops. Check yourself out in the large mirrors.
Shade lovers will appreciate over 1,000 square feet spread across three decks—the lower deck and the upper deck.
The sun warms more than half of the 1,000-square-foot upper deck, while the rest is shaded. Another 1,000-square-foot deck surrounds the 13-by-26-foot pool. Those who prefer shade and those who enjoy the sun can both cool off in the pool shower.
As they walk around the property, guests can enjoy hibiscus, Ixora Reina, night-blooming jasmine bushes, banana plants, and other tropical vegetation.
Feel free to email photos to your friends using the included Wi-Fi connection or even call them free phone to 48 US states and 10 Canadian provinces.
When evening comes, visit one of the local restaurants or prepare your dinner using local ingredients in the kitchen or on your large brick grill (barbecue). Enjoy your al fresco meal at the oak dining table.
Day or night, relax in the living room, cooled by fresh air flowing through large windows and double doors, with air circulated by ceiling fans in every room.
As night falls, enjoy a conversation on a warm evening illuminated by the breathtaking view of the stars and moon from the upper deck.
At night, retreat to your king-size bed. Enjoy the cool air streaming in through a large open window and circulated by a ceiling fan in both bedrooms, or opt for air conditioning in the south bedroom.
Relaxation is key in Troncones, but active holidaymakers will find plenty to do here. The beach (playa) begins just a few steps from your private pool. Stroll north along the beach towards Punta Majahua to the long, sandy Playa Majahua, or head south towards the more popular Playa Manzanillo.
The latter begins with a dramatic lava rock formation, continues along a sandy beach, and ends with a large, pool-sized tidal pool formed by volcanic rocks, where you can watch surfers enjoy the left-hand break at Punta Troncones.
Join the surfers by renting a board in Troncones, or perhaps opt for a daily or weekly bike rental, or enjoy a horseback ride along the beach.
Playa Troncones, a four-kilometer-long beach, begins just south of Punta Troncones and ends at the edge of “city centre” Troncones. As a long, unprotected beach, the waves at Playa Troncones are generally much larger than those at Playa Manzanillo. This can make for good surfing, but even strong swimmers are advised to exercise caution.
Bring your fishing gear and join the locals for shore fishing, or rent a boat with fishing gear in the village of Majahua, 500 metres from the house, to go
