Welcome to Our Place Inn Munising! This historic 1903 brick home sits 1 block from the waters of Lake Superior, Munising harbor & marina and 1 block from downtown shops, restaurants, galleries and more.

Munising is famous for its pictured rocks and pictured rocks boat cruises, waterfalls and countless other outdoor activities.

This lovely home greets you with a large covered front porch where no doubt you'll want to relax any time of day, from morning coffee to evening refreshments.

Open the large oak front door and step into a one-of-a-kind home with spacious living and dining rooms which capture your attention immediately with their high ceilings and original hemlock trim and doors. A quirky kitchen includes a bar section from The Log Jam, a Munising tavern from years gone by. Adjacent to the Kitchen is a ¾ bath with curved door shower. Be sure to notice the original 2 door ice chest in this former pantry turned bathroom.

The home features a total of 3 bedrooms. The front 2 bedrooms, each with a full-size bed, are conveniently located off the living room and kitchen. These 2 bedrooms share a Jack and Jill style layout with a bathroom featuring a soaker tub and stand-up sprayer wand.

The entire back of the home is a large bedroom. A queen size bed and seating area makes this a perfect space for grownups to enjoy a quiet morning coffee. This bedroom also has its own private outdoor entrance. A mini-split unit provides this room with both Air Conditioning and heat.

Whether you are looking for hiking, swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing or just relaxing, you can't beat Munising and this home!

Air Conditioning: There is a mini split a/c unit in the back bedroom, and multiple oscillating, box fans throughout house.

Bathroom 2: Soaker tub with hand held shower, sink, and toilet(shared between bedroom 2 &3)
*additional vanity with running water in bedroom #2

Beach/Swimming: Not on property but 1 block from water front and Sand Point beach is 11 min away(4.6 miles)

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fire-pit: Because of the proximity of neighbors there is not a firepit

Fishing: Pier fishing a block away! Smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, and bluegill are common in the area.

Fishing License: A license is required in order to fish in Michigan.

Fishing Poles: Please bring your poles!

Golf: Pictured Rocks Golf Club is only 8 minutes away

Grill: There is a propane grill for your use!

Grocery Store: Bob's IGA 1 minute away(.1 miles), Family Fare Supermarket 2 minutes away (.7 miles away)

Heat: Boiler system with radiator heat. Property has on demand hot water heater

Internet: Yes, there is WIFI at property.

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and bath towels.

Parking: Parking in back will accommodate 1 truck and trailer, there is a shared driveway but the best place to park is parallel parking on East side of house

Pets: Pets not allowed(owner has severe allergies)

Privacy: There are neighbors

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

Seniors: Are welcome! Only a few steps to entrance

Televisions: 43" Smart TV with Roku attached in Living room

Towels: All bath and kitchen towels will be provided during your stay. Please bring beach towels with you!

Washer and Dryer: None on property, however there is a laundry mat right in town.
