My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here, it was perfect for a long weekend getaway with the dogs. The place was well decorated, we loved the back common area, we got running hot water quickly, there was a fireplace, the backyard leads to a beautiful park with a small creek, and communication with the host was great.Just some feedback to improve on: a fence would be nice so we’ll feel safer (someone used our porch and left their rubbish), there weren’t any matches provided to help light the fireplace, we needed more lighting in the common area (there’s only one light there), the vacuum didn’t work well, and the place needed more cleaning (friend found cobwebs above her bed and in the cupboards).Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

Superb stay

Thoroughly enjoyable weekend in Stanley. The property was fantastic - big with lots of space, clean, functional and well appointed. Great proximity to Stanley Pub which was one of the more enjoyable nights out. Recommend highly!

Stanley stay

We had a great stay in beautiful Stanley. Gamesome property and location and a very short drive or ride into Beechworth! Would highly recommend this property for a peaceful getaway!

A beautiful home with a lovely rustic, country feel. Plenty of room. I loved the enclosed outdoor style space which had a fire place and large table to fit multiple guests. I would definitely stay there again. The host was very friendly and helpful. We were also able to get an early check in, which was great.

Family catch up

Family met in Stanley, walking distance to Stanley Pub ,15 minutes into Beechworth and a beautiful relaxing outdoor area where we gathered, read and played board games.

The property was well presented. The owner communicated promptly and courteously. It was a cold weekend and unfortunately the fire in the back area did not work. However, the fire in the front of the house kept us cosy (and the reverse cycle a/c's)
