This cottage is very well equipped with anything you need for a pleasant stay. The beds are very comfortable too! So often not the case in a rental. It is such a nice quiet getaway spot.
The cabin was cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed and then some! We enjoyed watching the lake and the occasional bird floating on the water. Also, the many bird calls from the trees on shore. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. For a relaxing, peaceful retreat from the world it could not be beat.
Check in easy with owners instructions. Kitchen well stocked with all utensils needed..Wi Fi access was good.My sisters came back and forth from Winnipeg to stay for a few days at a time. Other visitors came from Winnipeg and Brandon. Because of heat the algae was too bad to go in water, but had a great time anyway. It’s so peaceful there.
We were in St Laurent visiting my husband’s family and he said this has been his favourite trip because of the beautiful accommodations here. My kids (5 and 6) spent a little of each day in the water of Manitoba Lake. Headed from the deck and sunroom, there’s a grass lawn leading to a soft and sandy stretch of beach before getting to the water. There’s a naturalistic, rocky entry to the water and my kids loved skipping across the stones and collecting shells! There are paving stones underwater leading a good 15 meters to the sandbar.
Included were a beach fire pit, and it was beautiful watching the sunset on the water here. The sunroom was perfect for having a morning coffee and chatting in the evening after the little ones went to bed. Very comfortable bed and spacious rooms. There is a jetted tub which was great for hosing off after playing outside. Thank you for opening your home to our family for this trip, and we hope it will be available our next visit!
