About the host
Hosted by Cory Cole

Hi, my name is Cory, plain and simply, I am a Yooper. I live locally year round and am a wealth of knowledge when it comes to exploring our area. I graduated high school and college here and I am an avid outdoors-man, I camp, hike, bike, kayak, ski, snowshoe, ATV, motorcycle, snowmobile and Jeep nearly the entire U.P. and if you have heard of it, chances are I've been there, or done that. I also know some places 'slightly off the radar' if you are looking to get away from the tourist areas. Just ask, I'll be happy to give you advice.
Why they chose this property
I manage this property for my friends Tom and Lynea. They purchased it in 2016 as a vacation home/future retirement home. They always enjoyed staying in the area to sight see, kayak and just relax. They found this home and decided they would like to secure it for the future. Tom and Lynea love dogs, and understand it's hard to find places to stay that allow dogs, so they wanted to make sure this home was dog friendly. Myself, I own/manage 9 other properties here in AuTrain and have done so since 2009. Since that time, I have been providing people a great place to stay, and the best opportunity to enjoy our beautiful area.
What makes this property unique
It is on the shores of Lake Superior. 3 miles away is one of the best beaches in all of Michigan, and 15 minutes away is Pictured Rocks, dozens of waterfalls, hundreds of miles of hiking trails, biking trails and ATV/snowmobiling trails.
