It was such a pleasure having you stay at our lakeside cabin. You were incredibly friendly, kind, and thoughtful, and we really appreciated the way you jumped in to help my son, it genuinely made a difference and meant a lot to our family.
We’re so glad you enjoyed the cabin and thought it was as beautiful as we do. We would absolutely love to have you back anytime! ~Kim
Beautiful cottage on the lake. Quiet, scenic, and well equipped. Loved sitting on the dock and many seating areas provided. A true hidden gem. We look forward to our next visit
Absolute perfection. We were so pleasantly surprised by the location, and the cottage. Pictures don’t even come close to how stunning this property is. Nothing spared, quality amenities, it is fully stocked and the views and crystal clear lake are worth a million bucks.
Quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed a paddle on the lake and access to the nearby trails.

It was a pleasure hosting Rick and Kim at our lakeside cabin. They were quiet, respectful, and left everything in great condition. It was clear they appreciated the peaceful setting and made the most of their time here. We’d be happy to welcome them back anytime!
A beautiful property in a gorgeous setting! Everything was clean, comfortable and stocked with whatever you might need. Great walking and biking trails two minutes down the road. We stayed for a week and would strongly recommend this fantastic spot.
Our experience was better than we ever imagined it would be. The cabin is very clean, comfortable, well equipped, great location and the hosts are wonderful people. We are looking forward to returning for sure!!
A secluded location close to nature and lake life. The house was well equipped and we had access to lots of equipment, enabling us to enjoy the lake to the fullest. Mountain biking at Ellison’s Park was great fun.
What an amazing location this was for our anniversary getaway. Kim and her dad were awesome, the cottage was super nice, clean and everything was very well thought out. Spent a lot of time on the dock by the lake. Their cat Cream visited us numerous times. Definitely will be back!!

12/10 A couple’s dream get away. Cosy cabin, right on the lake with all the comforts of home. Just renovated and AIR CONDITIONED. The hosts were wonderful. We’ll be back!!
The view of the lake is wonderful..the cottage is very nice..great decor! The “beach “ and shallow water is extremely rocky. A bit of a distance to any activities but expected that based on the location. Very nice spot to relax and read a book.
The Lake was awesome for swimming and kayaking .
This place is truly amazing! The cottage was extremely clean and Kimberly ensured that every detail was thought out from the Sage products , to the linens to the basket of essentials! The dock with lounge chairs were perfect for your morning coffee. Highly recommend this little oasis!
We had an idyllic and quiet week at this lakeside cottage. The kitchen was well stocked, the furniture was comfortable, and everything was just perfect. John was available for anything we needed and was a perfect host. We're looking forward to our next stay here.
We stayed for two weeks at the end of July and it was all we were expecting. The cottage is clean, well equipped with SUP and Kayaks and everything you need to use them straight from the dock. The cottage had all the amenities to cook with and a clean BBQ. The owner is next door and displayed the perfect balance of checking to make sure we had everything we needed and maintaining our privacy. The location is ideal if you are looking for a private and quiet lakefront location. You can swim right off the deck to cool off. The property was very well maintained and very clean.
Quiet lakefront retreat in woodlands, yet only 20 minutes to a grocer.
Exceeded our expectations and happily surprised us with lots of wildlife to watch. John greeted us and gave us the grand tour of the very clean and well appointed property. He lives in the house above to the left. Because of the elevation difference and the abundance of foliage, you are afforded a ton of privacy. The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of cookware, dishwasher, utensils, gadgets, water cooler, spices etc. The living room had leather furniture, throw blankets and a large TV with lots of channels. The king bed was really comfy and the linens were very high quality. There was a ton of available storage throughout the house should you be staying awhile. There was a variety of choices for full sun, dappled sun or full shade all throughout the day so you could avoid sunburn. The lakeside deck had loungers and Adirondack chairs and the house deck had sunny loungers and a table with chairs set under a canopy. There were lots of paddle boards or kayaks for water fun in the clear Okanagan lake front and two boat hoists. Wandering the shore or in the shallows looking at rocks and fish was my favourite past time. There was so much wildlife: deer, chipmunks, heron, eagles, robins, hummingbird, etc. John and Kim checked in from time to time in case we needed anything; very friendly father, daughter team. We would definitely go back.
The Cliff Bungalow Beach House - a bit of a drive, but worth every KM to get there
If you're looking for a great space, away from everything and still be surrounded with all the necessary creature comforts. This is the place to retreat to. You're right on the beach, have access to kayaks and paddleboards, just 2 km from Ellison Provincial Park with loads of hiking and biking trails and amazing beaches. John was an amazing host and ensured we had everything we needed and more. The beach house is fully provisioned, and unlike some other VRBO properties we've rented in the past, this one came with lots of everything and of good quality. We were looking for a great restaurant in the area to celebrate our anniversary and his suggestion of Intermezzo in Vernon was spot on. If you are looking for a romantic dinner ask for the cellar room. If you are planning to partake in some wine tasting you are looking at a15 minute drive back into Vernon and then another 30 minutes south to Kelowna before you get to the major wineries. Definitely looking forward to a return visit.
It is a very nice place to stay, beautiful…Steps to the water, and very peaceful. We would love .
If you are looking to get away, and want to have your own water front spot… just for two. This place is very nice. We enjoyed the area as well, Ellison park is beautiful with good hiking trails.
We would love to return to this one bed one bath waterfront cabin. Everything you need plus more. Great location, great hosts, great cabin. King bed is the added luxury. Thanks John and family for a wonderful vacation.
