A very cozy home that is well appointed, plenty of space and has everything you need for a great stay. We ayyended a graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. Ideal location with a little drive to the base.

Great Find in St. James

This place was just right for our family time. The house was very nice and had everything we needed. The outdoor spaces (porches and patio) were especially useful. We would definitely stay again.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The back yard is nice for a small family. The interior was nice and clean. Very quiet neighborhood even with highway 44 in sight.

Thanksgiving stay

Love, love this rental. Not only was it super clean, it was decorated wonderfully. This feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and safe. This is a great place to stay if you’re in the area.

Upon arriving, the place was beautiful inside decorated immaculately but once you get past all the eye candy, you realize how dirty the place actually is for instance, both bathrooms had hair in them poop and pee, stains on the toilet seat underneath the back bathtub get hot water nor does the faucet for the tub work. I think it’s rusted shut or something. It was completely filthy in both bathrooms. The shower in the hall bathroom needs some work. It needs a new showerhead really because she turned the shower on and it just blasted you in your face because there isn’t nothing to hold the showerhead up above you where you normally shower at the beds are super old and uncomfortable. The kitchen was amazing the refrigerator everything was as it seemed in the pictures except they need to hire a new housekeeper and also maybe a plumber or somebody to help fix the bathroom issues. It could definitely use some new mattresses as well because they were very uncomfortable and very old. Other than that our first night was awesome. The second night we decided we didn’t wanna sleep in those beds that made our backs hurt.

Good location

We were happy with the location and the fact that the property was dog friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Check in and entry to the property was easy. I have one complaint that the air fryer was not cleaned after the last tenant and there were some small repairs to things that needed done.

Weekend vacation

Pros: nice neighborhood, bike trail a bonus especially with dogs. Close to fun activities like meramec park, restaurants, and fugitive beach. Loved the back porch for drinking coffee. Cons: next to interstate, but I knew that when I booked so it was expected. The biggest thing was that the house was not clean. It was almost like it was lived in on a daily basis. My kids found bobby pins everywhere, and change in the floor. The toilets were not clean and toilet paper was still in one. The floors were super dusty and the house had an old smoke smell. There was so much dust on the ceiling fan I did not want to turn it on. There was hair on the shower walls. This was disappointing especially since the cleaning fee was almost as much as the cost of the actual house.
