This was a great place to stay for our little vacation and it was great that our dogs were able to come with us. The owners were great about everything and were easy to get ahold of if needed. Would love to go back again.

Adorable house

The house was great and the perfect size. Absolutely loved the game room. Happy to be close to Mr Baldys, walked right over for breakfast. This is a great spot to be if you like more privacy.

Family Fun

Enjoyed the clean and neat property. Only disappointment was new construction took away the majority of the water and sunset views.

Quiet and serene

Property was amazing. Communication was even better. Lots of space for the 5 of us. Property had everything. Beach chairs to use and umbrella for the beach. Tons of cups plates and cookware. We had an absolutely amazing stay!

property was great, communication excellent. Only complaint was that they provided only minimal toilet paper. With 3 bathrooms and 9 people there were only 2 rolls and one partial. Thats it, otherwise as presented. and the only reason I mention the TP issue was because it was noted in a previous review.

Nice home with everything anyone could possibly need. We had a little bump in the road with the propane but managed handled it. No need to pack beach chairs- they have them. Warning: bring your own toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and laundrysoap- no starters privided. Not water-view as indicated. Overall great place!!!

Kid cousins getaway

Had a wonderful time staying at Eventide. The house was spacious and perfect for my sister and I to take our kids for a weekend getaway. The house had a wonderful collection of toys and such for entertaining the 6 kids ages 1-17years. Only thing is important to note is the game room (lower level) can only be accessed through the outside door. Having 3 full bathrooms was perfect . Also the Seaside Vacations was very responsive to questions and minor issues like a stuck blind. Having Mr. Baldys restaurant less than 100yards away was very convenient for feeding us as well.

Eventide

The cleanliness of the property was great. The use of checking in also, great. My problem was all of the bathrooms had no blinds or coverings at all three bathrooms with small children. I had to resort to covering them with towels. During my stay, the last three days, the house started to smell like sewage in the upstairs two bathrooms.

Chincoteague

AC was broken on arrival. AC was fixed next afternoon. Dirty towel still in tub. No laundry soap and only two rolls of toilet paper and a small roll of paper towels. No hand soap. One dish towel for whole stay. No facial tissue. Overall a nice enough place but very sparsely supplied with amenities. Also, only one exit from home.
