Fairview Country Home is nestled in the peaceful and picturesque surrounds of the Taradale Valley, at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, in NSW. It is located on a 40ha working cattle property, overlooking the Tarcutta Creek, which runs through the property.
Fishing, gold panning and cooling off in the summer months are pleasant pastimes, in this beautiful creek, where platypus have been seen surfing the rapids.

Fairview is the ideal retreat from a busy life and is similarly a gateway to a multitude of regional activities. It’s unique and thoughtful design ensures a comfortable and memorable stay.

Long walks, bike rides along the winding bush roads, where wildlife is commonplace, and the air is fresh and sweet, is a must.
Apart from the relaxing nature of Fairview, where kicking back on the verandah with a book from the well-stocked library, while taking in the breathtaking views, accompanied by the comforting sound of the flowing creek, remember to take in the photo gallery displayed throughout the house, produced by a talented local photographer.

Fairview is only 20 mins from the amenities of Tumbarumba and Rosewood, where the state’s only Rail Trail can be found. Bicycles and e-bikes can be hired in Tumbarumba.

The closest fine dining is located only 15 minutes away at the famous, national award-winning Courabyra Wines, whose meals and wines are to die for. Gone Barny Café and Nursery and the Rail Trail Café, at Rosewood offer scrumptious lunches for a more relaxed outing.
