It is a dense urban area, and weekends and holidays can feel especially active. Like many city neighborhoods, you may see some homelessness or public intoxication nearby. If the windows are open, you may also hear normal city sounds, but inside the apartment the space is generally quiet and serene.
Twilight Terrace is located in a secure building with mostly full-time residents, so it’s a good fit for guests who appreciate a peaceful home base while staying in the heart of the city. We kindly ask guests to be respectful of neighbors and mindful of building rules so everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay. While the unit itself feels calm and tucked away, you may occasionally notice hallway sounds, cooking smells, or the scent of marijuana in shared areas, as cannabis is legal in Washington.
Getting here is usually easy, and public transportation from the airport is readily available. Once you arrive, many guests find it easiest to explore by foot, transit, or rideshare. We do offer a secured parking space, though it is best suited for very compact cars and can be a bit tight to access.
