Our family holiday home in Ryans Cove, Coongulla, is set up like a home away from home & sits on the banks of Lake Glenmaggie.
Wake up by the water, switch off & enjoy the simple things - good company, beautiful views & unforgettable memories.
With four bedrooms and space for 10+ guests, it’s ideal for a fun-filled stay with family and friends or a quiet getaway.
We are a pet friendly home so please bring your dog(s) along to enjoy your holiday with you.
The house has ducted central heating & air conditioning to all rooms & on the back deck there is a coonara & large fan.
Enjoy lake views from the large back deck, direct access to the water and a fully fenced yard for your dogs. There’s plenty of parking for cars and trailers, and you can park your boat or jet ski in the cove within view of the back deck.
Please note that the house is on a sloped block & does have stairs.

Water levels vary seasonally as Lake Glenmaggie is an important irrigation reserve, so please check water levels before your stay.

Traveling with a larger group? For an additional fee, you can unlock our fully self-contained studio located beneath the main decking. This private space features its own entrance, a kitchen, bathroom, and a comfortable lounge/dining area. It accommodates 2 to 4 extra guests with a queen bed and a double sofa bed (all linen and towels included). We keep it locked off normally so smaller groups only pay for what they need—please inquire about pricing if you would like us to open it up for your stay!

What an amazing place. We visited for a wedding and hoped to enjoy the lake. The weather did not want use to enjoy the lake but the house by the lake and our host provided. Thankyou so much for the thoughtful placement of board games and other indoor activities and the awesome views even in the rain. Very clean tidy and well appointed. Think I’m going to book again for just a holiday this time as it’s well worth the stay even when the weather isn’t on our side.

We had an amazing stay! The house is beautifully located with a great view of the lake, and we found it to be exceptionally clean and well-equipped for all our catering needs. The host, Kate, was very generous, providing firewood and essential consumables in the kitchen and bathrooms. Using the kayaks was another bonus! Kate was incredibly friendly and responsive.

This house look nice in the photos but was honestly 100 times better in person. So spacious, super clean, fully equipped with so much to do you don’t need to leave the house to have a fun, relaxing time. We stayed over Christmas and the house was even decorated with extra special touches. Will be looking to book again. Thank you Kate.

The property was spotless and homely. It catered comfortably for 10 of us. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the mornings and dinner in the evening. Was fun and easy to use the kayaks too.

Beautiful lake front

Had a wonderful 3 day stay at Lakeside. Enjoyed the outdoor fireplace in the evening and went for daily walks along the lake. The house was well equipped and nice and warm. Thanks to Kate for being so accommodating, really great to communicate with.

This is one of the best equipped, clean and comfortable properties we have ever stayed in. Magnificent views of the lake from the large deck. Glorious to wake up in a cosy bed and hear the birds. Plenty of hot water, plenty of room and plenty of added touches.

Weekend getaway

Kate was an amazing host—very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed, so we didn’t have to stress about anything. It was super cozy, family and pet friendly, and the view was just perfect. We felt so relaxed the whole time. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Definitely coming back! :)

Our family enjoyed a truly wonderful stay at Kate's home. Communication with Kate was 10/10 and check in was with ease using the lock box. The property was very modern with spacious indoor/outdoor spaces and spotlessly clean. The home contains all amenities and some nice welcoming touches. There is everything needed for the perfect stay. Incredible views of the lake and situated in a quiet bush setting. We enjoyed the walks and paddling on the lake. Great experience!

We were blown away how clean and organised the place was as it has everything that you need. It feels like home and very relaxing. The view of the lake from the house was incredibly tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. There’s an easy access from the house going to the beautiful lake and we tried swimming and kayaking! Such a great experience! Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind. We’ll definitely come back!
