We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin was incredibly cozy and charming, with thoughtful details throughout. The owner built the beautiful post-and-beam cabin himself, including hand-hewing the large beams, which made it feel especially unique and personal. The vaulted ceiling gave the cabin an open, spacious feel, while the heated concrete floors and dimmable lighting added to the warm, inviting atmosphere. The setting was incredibly peaceful. The cabin sits on a beautiful 15-acre property filled with maple trees, with the sugar shack used during the short maple-syrup season attached at one end. We loved sitting on the covered porch with coffee, watching the morning sunlight filter through the maple foliage. There was plenty of seating, including a rocking chair and hammock, and the deck lighting added extra charm in the evening. The outdoor jacuzzi, fire area, provided firewood, Keurig, and coffee pods were all wonderful touches. What made the stay truly memorable, though, was the kindness of the owner. We had complete privacy, but when we did meet him, he was warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in us and our travels. He generously showed us the sugar shack and explained the maple-syrup-making process. I will never think of maple syrup quite the same way again.Check-in and communication were seamless, and the location was great for exploring the area. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and would absolutely stay here again if we return to Québec.
