This little cottage was amazing. Super clean and nice. Host was easy going and great with communication. So much wildlife to see and hear. Lots to do around the area. They have pets that are super friendly. My grandson made friends with one of the cats. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely rental, perfect location

This cottage was perfect for us! Close to my sister's, and price is excellent. Very clean, nice furnishings, well equipped. Will be staying here again!

Absolutely cozy and welcoming house !

My family and I absolutely loved the cottage! It was the perfect spot to stay. We loved everything from the friendly animals to the nice little home. The hosts made the check in process so easy. We visit Virginia for family a couple

Amazing stay!

We had the BEST stay at this little cottage. Everything went so smoothly and the cottage was adorable. The hosts were great and so were all of the other animals (chickens, cats, and their sweet husky). Overall would 10/10 recommend!

Short Family get away!

Our family and I really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and the title of tranquil is every bit of the description!! The kids and my husband found it very relaxing . All from the welcoming of the animals to the fabulous sunsets we couldn’t ask for more . The house was very equipped with all necessities we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay again!

Quite cottage with convenient location

Comfortable small house with LR, bedroom, and simple kitchen. Quite location in the country near SW Richmond suburbs and 288 bridge to West End. Upscale neighborhood with lots of open space.

WOW!Our host (Melissa) as well as the property were amazing! Incredible location with access to everything we needed. Daughter and I were in town (from CO) for son's college lacrosse championships. Melissa dug out some old fishing poles for us and we had an absolute blast fishing in the pond. The place was impeccable both inside and out which allowed us incredible restful nights of sleep (usually hard to come by when not in your own bed ). Geese (with babies), cats, dog, deer, frogs, tons of other singing birds, etc ...u name it, we had it.Just can't say enough....1st time staying in a VRBO (stayed in many other non-hotel locations) and this is one of the best places we've stayed at.You will not go wrong here. Will definitely stay again if visiting the area.

This property is an absolute gem!! We wanted to stay somewhere outside the city that wasn’t too far from the draws of the city. This property was perfect! The owner is an absolute delight and made sure our stay was a memorable one. The home is a beautifully refurbished old farmhouse in a peaceful, scenic setting. The beds were incredibly comfortable- much appreciated after a long journey on the road - and the home amenities covered everything we could possibly need. The kids loved playing with Cinnamon (the owner’s pup), fishing the pond and admiring the Canadian Geese and baby frogs. We were thrilled to meet Grandpa Young as he tended to the garden. Be sure to thank this vet for his service to our country! We will definitely look to stay here again on future travels! Thank you so much, Melissa!
