Great Location!

Winfield Manor is in a great location close to many restaurants and beaches. The 3 bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms are very convenient. Barbecue and furniture in screened in porch is great. We would definitely stay here again.

Winfred Manor Governor’s Harbor

Great location for touring around Governor’s Harbor, large rooms and three bedrooms, three and a half baths, plenty of personal space. We brought newcomers to Eleuthera with us so the central location was good for that.

Highly Recommended

We rented this house for our son and his family for a family memorial service for my mother. It was very clean, and spacious and plenty of room for their family of 6, plus another one of our sons. Misty was very helpful when we needed something, which wasn't much. Air conditioning works great!! There's a beautiful view of the sea (except for remains of the old bakery) and you're within walking distance of the Cay and downtown Governor's Harbour. And of course Governor's Harbour is central to everything on the island. I know there are some comments about the roosters, which do wander around the property, but I think that's part of the charm. Besides, I think they're a great alarm to get up and enjoy the island. I highly recommend it!

Spacious Stay on a Quiet Island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house had more than enough space for all of us to have some privacy or gather together in the open kitchen/dining/living area. Misty, the property manager, was extremely helpful in making sure we were able to get internet (unfortunately, I had to work), offering advice, and checking in to make sure we were good. We loved taking morning walks around the town (be sure to stop by the bakery) before hitting the nearly empty beaches. The only thing missing was a sheet tray (we had to get a little creative) and some comfortable patio furniture--it was so nice to being able to sit and read and just watch the water across the way. We just wish there was enough furniture for all of us and more comfortable chairs. If you're looking for a low key vacation but want to see all of Eleuthera, this is a wonderful central location with plenty of room and access to the island.
