Fabulous home with room for 4 adults and 2 children and a very happy spoodle. The very well equipped kitchen and the slow combustion fire with fire wood were great, especially as the weather over the weekend was cold and wet. The fully enclosed garden was beautiful and the sound of the river and the birdlife were very relaxing. We loved our three nights at Lavender Cottage and look forward to returning.

We had the absolute best time! The house is huge and stunning. My mother took photos so she can remodel her place exactly the same. Our dogs loved the big backyard and smuggling up to the fireplace (which we had burning nearly constantly as it was so effective at keeping the lounge warm). Honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Truly magical.
