The County Stay - Bloomfield

Welcome to this 3 bedroom home in the heart of The County! You will love the location of this home with fields in every direction yet only 8 minutes to the wineries of the region! Two vehicle Provincial Park passes are for your use during your stay. Relax and enjoy the views from the hot tub on the private patio.

This beautiful open concept home features a gourmet kitchen with a massive island! There are 3 king size bedrooms with a beautiful 3 piece bath and additional powder room.

Relax and enjoy the views outside on the private patio with bbq, hot tub, fire pit and the owners supply the firewood! Blankets and robes are also provided.

Kindly note the property owner is on the same grounds but very much stays out of guests space unless assistance is required.

Guests will have access to the entire space.

The County Stay is located five mins to Wellington, 10 mins to Bloomfield and 15 mins to Picton. You will be centrally located to many wineries, breweries, distilleries, Sandbanks Beach, North Beach and many shops for your pleasure.
* There is an exterior camera on the end of the owners house facing the VRBO driveway.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave beds unmade and do not remove the linens. Place all used towels in the shower.
Please don't forget to leave the two park passes in the house before you leave.
Close all windows and lock the doors.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
If going to the beach please bring a 2nd swimsuit for the hot tub or wash it in the washer provided before entering the hot tub.
No smoking inside house. There is a sandpail on back porch of house to extinguish cigarettes.
Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight. Camping on the property is prohibited this includes RV’s, tents, campers and trailers.

We had such a great stay! The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and really well situated for exploring everything PEC has to offer.The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area was a great space for our group to hang out together, and the beds were very spacious and comfortable. We also loved spending time on the back porch and enjoying the hot tub.The host has really thought of everything, which made the stay feel extra special — comfy robes and blankets, flip flops for the hot tub, tons of lawn and board games, a really well-equipped kitchen, provincial park passes, and even firewood for the fire pit. It was so nice not having to think about bringing all of those little extras ourselves.Overall, it was a great place to stay with a group and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend in the County. We would definitely stay again!

Ideal place for a weekend getaway. Beds and couches were comfy. Place is well stocked with essentials (e.g., towels, etc) and extras (e.g., boardgames, robes). Kitchen is ideal for hanging out. Hot tub was great and we enjoyed being out there while it poured rain one afternoon. Short drive to various wineries. Highly recommend.

The hosts of The County Stay have truly thought of every single detail to ensure their guests feel pampered and comfortable. Their modern country retreat is absolutely beautiful. Inside, the kitchen is huge and fully stocked, the beds offer 'cloud-like' comfort, and the bathrooms are immaculate. Outside, the massive, covered private patio—featuring a BBQ, hot tub, and fire pit—is the perfect place to relax and catch the amazing sunsets. On top of all this, you are only a short drive away from Sandbanks Provincial Park, fantastic wineries, and charming small towns like Bloomfield. It is the ultimate County escape; we will return!

The perfect getaway

Located in the heart of the county, this place was perfect for our weekend getaway. The space was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be staying again.

Amazing stay, even better than the listing!

The house was wonderful! Much bigger than the listing makes it seem. The common area and kitchen are huge! One of the best stocked vacation homes we've stayed in, and many games for the kids outside! Highly recommend

Bachelorette weekend

We were 6 ladies there for 3 night stay and had a wonderful time! The property was super clean, had upgraded appliances and enough vanities for the whole group to get ready at the same time! Tanya was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. We highly recommend this stay!

Attended a wedding at Brighthouse Farms

Our stay was so relaxing allowing us to enjoy a busy wedding so peacefully. We enjoyed family time, had hot tubs, and caught up with family. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Every amenity you could think of is provided! A perfect place to relax. Picton is a great place for lunch and a look at shops. We will be back!

The property is in the county with sweeping views. The backyard has a firepit, hot tub, and covered patio. There is everything you need to relax both inside and out. We used it as a base for touring wineries in the area and shopping. A short drive to everything we wanted to do. Yes, it is really as nice as in the online photos.

Warm et inviting place

This property was perfect for our family!!! A lot of space to play outside. The house was very comfortable and clean. There was lovely details in the accommodation that ease our stay. The communication with the host (Tanya) was easy. I absolutely recommend it !

My husband was born and raised in Prince Edward County and I moved here from Toronto when I was three years old. We raised our two daughters in the County and we wouldn't have had it any other way!

Why they chose this property

We chose our property for the large private parcel of land and after living here for some years we decided to build another house to host others so they can enjoy the large open space as well.

What makes this property unique

This house is perfect for family/friends to get together in a large open space where everyone can congregate together. It is centrally located to wineries, distilleries, breweries, amazing restaurants and shops. It is very private with amazing sunsets and if you're lucky you may even see some deer and wild turkeys in the field!
