Old historic Lewis Creek runs nearby, and the entrance to the famous Lewis Creek hike is just below the cabin on Road 630. The property was perfect for our family. It was quiet and had a great deck with a view of the forest. The owner made sure we got there alright and gave helpful tips on what to do during our stay. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. I would recommend it to anyone planning to go to Yosemite.

The house was everything advertised and more. Perfect for just sitting around the firepit with friends. The hot tub was fantastic and big screen projector tv was great to watch movies. The location between Yosemite and Oakhurst was convenient. The hosts, Sara and Tony, were very accommodating and made our stay unforgettable.

Stay here!

We had a fantastic time here. The cabin is super close to the South entrance of Yosemite and a short drive from Oakhurst for groceries and restaurants. Best of both worlds. There is an amazing waterfall a short hiking distance from the cabin. We highly recommend this cabin.

Perfect cabin close to Yosemite

The cabin was perfect for us. Plenty of room, great deck with seating and fire pit. Only 10 minutes to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park and 1 hr to the valley. We absolutely loved our stay here and Tony was fantastic to work with.

Yosemite Get-away

We loved our stay at Sugar Pine. Cabin was comfortable, clean, and the amenities made the time we spent resting in the cabin fabulous. The cabin is located on a steep hill, which was a little uncomfortable for my older mother to explore the outdoor areas, but was PERFECT for hikes down to the creek for those of us more sure on our feet. Also located close to grocery and other amenities.

Best VRBO Ever!

We could not be happier that we chose this place to bring our 16 year old grandson for his first visit to Yosemite! The house has so much charm and character— a perfect cabin in the woods but with amenities you would not expect like a hot tub and a theater room. The house was an extension of our experience at Yosemite, not just a place to stay. Highly recommend!!

Too short but very sweet!

Peaceful, beautiful, rejuvenating. This place was perfect for our group of 3 couples and 2 kiddos. Tucked away into a really peaceful space, There was more than enough for us to do and we really enjoyed playing the board games and sitting outside by the fire while grilling. If you're planning a trip to yosemite or just some time to get away....choose this place!! The beds were comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, and fantastic communication. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. Thank you Tony and Sara!!!! So blessed to have found yalls place!

An amazing respite just outside of Yosemite

We were so lucky to stay in this beautiful cabin for a summer visit to Yosemite. It was located very close to the southern entrance and also to town so that we could go out and get milk so easily when we forgot to bring it along! Although the host booklet was super helpful and informative, the hosts themselves and their instructions for getting to the property were also incredible. During our visit, our host provided several recommendations, including the Sugar Pine Railroad, which we all sincerely enjoyed! The deck is also an incredible place to unwind and the hot tub was another fabulous respite. Would love to stay here again in the future!!

Clean and comfortable. Great location in the pines.

We spent 5 nights here while visiting Yosemite. This cabin is in a great, quiet location and worked well for the 5 of us. The owner called us to make sure we checked in ok and to answer any questions and offer suggestions for the area. We had two very minor issues (dead batteries in a remote and low on dishwasher detergent). Tony immediately dropped some off the very next day. I have stayed at several VRBOs and have never had such responsive and caring owners. The only thing I would caution about if someone has mobility issues is that the steps to the lower bedrooms are very steep.

Amazing mountain getaway

The property was very clean, hot water heats up quickly, kitchen is well stocked with cooking gear (don’t forget your cooking basics ie S&P, oil, etc). The beds are comfortable. There is individual temp control on each level including heat and AC. The house is well shaded and doesn’t get nearly as hot as it is outside! The hot tub was very and easy to use. There are several fire pits! Bbq! Laundry! All in all, amazing. Thanks to Tony and Sara for this sweet little spot.

UNBELIEVABLE AND BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY

This pictures, posted on the Home Away site, do not do this cabin any justice whatsoever. In order to really enjoy and appreciate this place, you MUST stay!!! I have used Home Away for about 5 years now and this is by far the best place I have ever stayed and Tony is the BEST owner you could possibly rent from on this site. He is very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. Now, let's get to the cabin. This place is not only beautiful on the outside but spectacular on the inside. Tony did an amazing job on the inside by giving it a very nice cabin feel. Anything you could possibly need in this cabin is there...iron and board, washer and dryer, even the laundry detergent, toiletries etc. In fact you don't even need to set your alarm for your excursions in the morning (if you are sleeping in the master bedroom which is on the third floor) because you have a sky light right above your king size bed with views of the stars at night and pine trees in the morning. All I can say is, if you are visiting Yosemite, this is the place to stay!! Thx again Tony :)

Great location and comfortable cabin!

We had a great stay last June at this property! I regret that it has taken me almost a year to write this review but I felt compelled to do so while re-living our great memories made on last year's trip. The cabin is in a great location about 20 minutes or so away from Von's grocery and restaurants and a half hour or so from Mariposa Grove which is a must see! It takes about an hour to get to Yosemite Valley but the the drive is worth it because the scenery is great and you have a chance to see wildlife along the way. We saw coyotes and turkeys on our drive which was exciting! Speaking of wildlife, we also saw quail and turkeys right there at the cabin along with frogs and stellar jays. There is also a nice walking path just a little ways past the cabin that leads to a pretty little waferfall. The cabin itself was very clean and well-stocked with towels and washcloths and k-cups and was very roomy. The beds were comfortable and my kids loved the lofted bed. We took advantage of the washer and dryer and really enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing on the spacious deck by the firepit. The area the cabin is located in was quiet and peaceful. Tony was also great! He was easy to contact and got back to us quickly and made great suggestions of things to stop and see on our way to Yosemite such as a cool swinging bridge and pioneer center where we got to check out old cabins and a covered bridge. I highly recommend staying here!

Tony and Sara were so pleasant to work with while booking their charming cabin and upon check in the communication was very smooth. Everything was as is pictured in way of accommodation's and amenities. Plenty of space for family gatherings inside and outside and privacy for when you want to wind down on your own. Whether siting outside in the several areas of the property from upper and lower decks and hot tub area. Everything was clean and orderly just like my own home. We enjoyed our short wkend so much and hope to come back soon for a longer stay. Their recommendations for things to do outside of the park were on point. Thank you so much Tony and Sara for allowing us to stay at your cozy cabin, we are so glad to have found this hidden gem! Kind Regards, the Clausen’s

The cabin was very nice and quiet. If you’re looking for quiet solitude this is the place. We all enjoyed our short stay.
The cabin was not far from the entrance to Yosemite, but traveling those roads takes longer than normal.
The main reason for our trip and stay was to visit Yosemite.
