Incredibly accommodating property! Four bedrooms with 3 1/2 bathrooms makes life easier after spending a wonderful day exploring the beach and playing at the pool. The fenced in backyard made taking the pups outside easy. We enjoyed family time on the back deck and the cozy seating area in the backyard. We are definitely interested in this property for our next family vacation on Harbor Island.

We came down for a church retreat. The house was roomy, clean and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their private spaces as well as the group areas. The house was perfect for our group. The proximity to the beach was excellent. The views were so lovely from the kitchen window and porch. Parking was never a problem.I absolutely loved cooking in the kitchen - so much space and I will have such a problem going back to my limited countertops at home. But seriously, the laundry room, pantry, screened in porch, dining area - we loved all the conveniences and meeting space. We look forward to next year!!

Family vacation

I booked the house because I always wanted to visit Harbor Island. The island is so perfect I am considering buying a house there. The beach is beautiful and a quiet place to go and relax. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new place to stay, to come stay here.

Summer Beach Vacation

Great neighborhood - very quiet not a busy beach since it’s a gated community. If you don’t mind a 30-minute drive to town for groceries and food then this house is perfect. The house is a short walk, only a few minute walk, to public beach access. The house had all the amenities you need for a family beach vacation.

Filthy carpeting and furniture, even for a dog friendly house where you expect that to a certain extent. Carpeting should all be removed. Bathrooms were fine, kitchen was fine. Back porch was filthy. Close to the beach though.

Thank you for your feedback although, we are surprised by these comments as no concerns regarding cleanliness, the carpeting, furniture, or outdoor areas were brought to our attention during your stay. Had we known it would have given us the opportunity to address them. Our records show that the property was professionally cleaned and inspected prior to arrival. In fact, the first indication of any dissatisfaction with the property came only after you requested a late check-out and were informed that the additional hour would incur a $100 fee. Although that information is outlined in the rental agreement you signed prior to arrival it was only after hearing the fee that you responded with: "Forget it then. We are getting out of this disgusting house as early as we can." We take great pride in maintaining the property and ensuring every guest has a positive experience so we are sorry to hear your stay was not up to your satisfaction. We encourage future guests to review our many other reviews, which reflect the quality, cleanliness, and service standards we strive to provide. Thank you again for your feedback.

This house was great. Very close to the beach, can see the ocean from kitchen window and deck. The house is very well thought out for pet owners as the back deck, screened porch steps down into a nicely fenced yard. The only drawback to this rental is there is no golf cart and u cant rent one as the owner wont allow it. 90% of the other houses on harbor island have golf carts. The beach is VERY close but the pool is not when you are toting things and with little ones. So drive to the pool in hot temps. Other than that we had an awesome time in a fabulous house!! Thank you!

It's wonderful to know you had an awesome time. Regarding the golf cart, we do want to clarify that our listing clearly states that golf cart rentals are not permitted with this property so guests know this before booking and are not surprised upon arrival. This is not a decision made by our company. Harbor Island's HOA only allows property owners to rent golf carts, meaning an owner would have to rent one on behalf of a guest. Doing so would make the owner legally responsible for the rental and expose them to significant financial and legal liability in the event of an accident, injury, or property damage. Because of that level of risk, none of the owners we manage for are willing to rent golf carts on a guest's behalf. We appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear the home was otherwise a great fit for your vacation.
