Queen Size Bedrooms
Winton Cottage offers three double bedrooms and a comfortable daybed for your comfort. The first bedroom accommodates two guests in a spacious queen-size bed adorned with quality furnishings and it includes a private en suite for your convenience.
The second and third double bedrooms are each designed to accommodate two guests as well and are tastefully furnished with queen-size beds. The bathroom dedicated to these bedrooms is conveniently situated just across the hallway for easy access.
The daybed is located in the parlor and converts to either a comfortable single or queen-sized bed with quantity sprung mattresses depending upon guests requirements.
Two Bathrooms
In total, the house provides two bathrooms, one of which serves as an en-suite for one of the bedrooms.
Kitchen
The recently refurbished kitchen is outfitted with a complete range of modern amenities, including an oven, stove-top, dishwasher, and microwave while maintaining its heritage character. The centrepiece of the kitchen is a splendidly restored wood stove cooker, a historical gem from the same era as the house itself, proudly taking its place in the fireplace. Note that the antique cooker is non functional, is for decorative purposes only and not for guest’s use.
For your convenience, essential pantry items such as olive oil, salt, pepper, vinegar, tea, and coffee are thoughtfully supplied, ensuring your culinary needs are well taken care of.
Living / Dining Room
The living and dining area radiates spaciousness, with a wood-burning stove and two sets of French doors that open to the gardens and terraces. Within this room, you’ll discover a dining table crafted from reclaimed timber, offering an eco-friendly touch to your dining experience. Additionally, an inviting leather lounge suite beckons relaxation. The living area is thoughtfully appointed with a generously sized flat-screen television with access to your own subscription services for your entertainment.
Parlour
The parlour is a dual use room offering a quiet space to read and relax or an extra sleeping space when required. The daybed makes use of quality sprung mattresses and can be converted into a comfortable single or queen sized bed when requested by guests.
Gardens
Step outside, and you’ll discover a gas BBQ alongside two terraces. One terrace boasts a sizable dining table perfect for alfresco dining, while the other offers a relaxed lounge area nestled under the cool shade of a tree—a perfect spot for enjoying evening drinks.

Winton Cottage accommodates up to 8 guests across 3 queen-sized bedrooms and a comfortable daybed when required. For smaller groups, in order to keep our prices competitive and affordable, we prepare beds based on your specific requirements. Upon booking, we will reach out to confirm your exact preferences and needs.
Other Things To Note:
Base Rate: The standard Airbnb rate allows for 2 guests per bedroom (excluding infants) sharing 1 queen-sized bed. In certain instances some guests request extra beds (eg. snoring, group of friends, etc...). If extra beds are needed a one off $25 laundry fee will be charged per additional bed used to cover the additional laundering cost we incur.
For 5 guests or more the $25 laundry fee is waived.
Infants: For children under 2 years old (for whom we do not charge a fee), we assume parents will bring a portable cot, and no additional beds will be required.
Maximum Occupancy: The property strictly accommodates a maximum of 8 people.
Winton Cottage has central heating and electric blankets. During the cooler months we offer guests the option of a 20kg pack of firewood for $25 for use in the living room fireplace. When you arrive at the property you will find an unopened pack. If you would like to make use of it let us know and we will organize payment. Extra firewood can be purchased from our local IGA.
