Host was responsive when we had questions and property does match the photos. There were dead bugs and dirty dishes/appliances but bedding was clean.

Thank you for the feedback. We're glad the property matched the photos and that communication was easy throughout your stay, and it's good to hear the bedding was clean. We're sorry to hear about the dead bugs and dirty dishes and appliances, this isn't the standard we hold ourselves to. We've brought on a new cleaner and are addressing these details to make sure future guests have a spotless space from the moment they arrive.

This was our first bad experience when booking & staying in a rental property. We have booked stays 1-2 times a year for many years. It was unfortunate and we understand there are risks with pests when staying in a rural location. The host was apologetic and resolved the issues.
