Excellent location for skiing at Snow River and Black River Basin. Great amenities and very clean. Two families shared the house and we all had plenty of space.

This location was perfect for our 2 families. Everything was exceptionally clean. Great location to all of the July 4th festivities and Lake Superior. Right on Iron Belle trail!! We couldn’t have been more satisfied! Great trip!!!

The property was wonderful! Everything was clean and fully stocked! It was a short drive to the ski hills. Host had great communication! Would definitely use this place for our next trip up north!

Great place

We enjoyed our stay and loved all the character of this home. The boys liked the pool table with the TVs above it. There was plenty of room to spread out. The view of the woods from the kitchen were pretty. We walked to Jagger’s twice for dinner. Very good food and nice it was so close. We’d definitely stay here again!

ATV Riding

We had 9 adults staying at the property as part of our annual ATV riding trip. The property accommodated our 4 trucks and trailers, the three bathrooms helped us get through the showers quickly, and the beds were comfortable for sleeping.

I’ll start with the hosts. Very positive interaction and they were very accommodating. The house has great history and it has some great updates. The location is accommodating for skiing being 10 min away from Black River(Blackjack) and the snowmobile trails run just outside of the back yard. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again when we come back!

The house was a fantastic place to stay. It was obviously very well kept up, clean and well stocked. The inside looks just like the pictures online. The owner made sure we had everything we needed. It is well located for skiers and snowmobilers. Lots of parking space for whatever you bring.

The house was interesting. It was a bit odd to have the main kitchen and dinning and living space on the second floor, but it was okay. The bathrooms were a bit strange, but remodeling an old house can be challenging. Overall the house met the needs of our group.
