We had an absolutely lovely time. The place was beautiful - even better than it looks in photos. The hosts were amazingly responsive and accommodating. Our only complaint was slow internet which was literally out of their control. We will definitely be back.

Lovely Area

The property was very cute inside and well cared for. We very much enjoyed the view out the side of the property. It was very nice location within walking distance of restaurants, pharmacy, and the Main Street area.

Stayed here for Denison events. Close to downtown, easy walk, quiet neighborhood with deer, rabbits. Property was well equipped and comfortable.

Unbeatable location!

Highly recommend this property. It was perfectly located and had everything we needed. It was so lovely to be able to walk to all the lovely shops and restaurants, and street parking was easy. We had a wonderful stay in this home while visiting our son at Denison. The location is very convenient to walk to everything. This home had everything we needed and I love the keyless entry. Decorated with love. Clean and easy-we will stay here again in April!

I almost want to keep it a secret

I almost don't want to tell you how wonderful this place is. I want to rent it for graduation weekend and every other trip that we make to Granville. The manager was incredibly communicative and helpful. You want this place but please don't tell too many of your friends.

We enjoyed our stay in the charming apartment cottage which provided every amenity for both comfort and convenience. The decor is so welcoming, the cottage is spacious, and location is perfect. Wonderfully relaxing stay in total comfort!

Where do we begin? From the moment you step through the door you are greeted by the charming, graceful furnishings. Lisa, the owner, said they tried to think of everything a guest would want, and they have made the space so gracious and welcoming, it almost seems they had just gone away for the weekend and left you the key. The addition to the main house has been totally redone in impeccable taste. We found it to be completely relaxing, exactly what we needed for our trip back to Denison for a memorial service.It is on a quiet street, and when you raise the blinds in the dining area, you realize there is no other neighbors. You see nothing next door except trees, plants and lots of butterflies.And while talking about it, the front yard has been designed to be the perfect magnet attracting bees busy collecting pollen from the flowers, and yes, more butterflies. The actual location could not be better. Just two short blocks away from the main drag, Broadway, right in the heart of Granville. There are half a dozen places to eat within yards of each other, including the wonderful "Three Tigers" on Prospect st.And it is within walking distance of the Granville Inn, the PERFECT place to enjoy Sunday brunch, which we did. Honestly, we can't think of any reason not to give this property a well deserved A+.We've stayed in many VRBOs over the decades. This one was by far THE BEST! Thank you, Lisa!

The Porch Next Door Has it All

The Porch Next Door is in my top ten places to stay since I've been using services like Evolve. It's clean, homey, has comfortable seating in every space and the bed is comfy too. It's probably the most well-equipped home-away-from-home yet....there were plenty of dishes and silverware, pots and pans, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee makers, etc and things I didn't even expect to find like sharp knives to cut veggies with! There were even dishwasher pods, lots of dish towels, and paper towels provided. There were also laundry pods and dryer sheets in the bathroom cabinet so we didn't have to buy those and could do laundry when we needed to. The location can't be beat...an easy walk to main street in Granville for Whit's custard, lots of restaurants and The Station coffee shop and One Love bike and coffee shop. We rented bikes one afternoon for 24 hours and got 2 days of biking along the bike trail conveniently located right there next to the shop. The only drawback was that there weren't any screens on the windows so opening windows for fresh air wasn't a thing (we had a few wasps that took advantage of the open windows when we tried to get some fresh air). But the house has great AC, which was helpful at the end of August in Ohio. And you can sit out on the front porch for fresh air when you need it. I also took advantage of the local "lending library" that's perched next to the driveway, and left a few books too. Overall, I would go back to this house in a heartbeat. And probably will.
