A+
Amazing host super responsive even during the late hours of the evening. The house was beautiful and perfect for our entire family. There’s a crib as well as two high chairs. Some toys for the kids to play with as well. All new appliances and toilets that are sensors w a simple wave of the hand.

Attended a family wedding
9 of us “out of town” family members shared the 5 bedroom house while attending a family wedding in Calgary. Ages ranged from 26 to 74 years old AND we all had such a great time in this “home away from home” setting!!! We all came away feeling like we got to know each other better while we cooked and shared the common space yet while having our own private space to retreat to!! Weather was cool, overcast and rainy while there, but the “park like” setting across the street was inviting and the residential area was enjoyable to go for walks. The host is working on developing the back yard space. The location is close to major highways for ease of transportation to shopping and venues. The living room and dining area were our chilling and visiting areas. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies for meal preparation. We did borrow a 12 cup drip coffee maker from family as a single cup Kerig was provided. The beds were comfortable. We got to meet our host, Brandon, who we found very friendly and helpful. Our accommodation was very adequate and satisfying—we made a few suggestions on improving the space, and would highly recommend this location to others looking for a “home away from home” setting to enjoy your time in Calgary and/or surrounding area.

Host profile image

I'm Brandon, a proud Calgarian navigating the chaos of life with my two daughters, who bring both joy and, let's be honest, a fair share of chaos themselves. Born and bred in Calgary, I'm deeply rooted in the vibrant energy of this city.

Calgary isn't just a place I call home; it's a source of pride. I'm actively involved in local events and initiatives, doing my part to contribute to the community spirit that makes this city unique. Whether it's cheering on the local teams or attending neighborhood gatherings, I value the connections forged within this diverse urban landscape.

Hockey is my passion. While I may not be a professional, I find solace and excitement in the game. Whether playing with friends or supporting the Flames, the rink is my escape, offering a blend of competition and camaraderie that I cherish.

As an extrovert, meeting new people is second nature. I appreciate the richness of diverse perspectives and enjoy the simple pleasure of connecting with others. In a city that embraces both tradition and change, every encounter is an opportunity for growth and understanding.

Why they chose this property

I chose Fairview because of its central location, providing easy access to everything I need. It's a hub for convenience, with proximity to various amenities. Beyond that, the community's standout feature is its incredibly friendly residents – the warmest neighbors I've ever encountered. Fairview offers not just a location but a welcoming environment that feels like home.

What makes this property unique

My property stands out with its own winter wonderland – a small skating rink and hockey net, perfect for seasonal practice. Across the street, a green space becomes a playground haven for kids. A mere 3-minute walk leads to an off-leash dog area for furry friends. Nearby, there are playgrounds for the little ones and local pubs for a social night out.
