We stayed between Dec 27 2017 and Jan 1 2018. We definitely enjoyed our stay.
Amenities included a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave and toaster (all very new). The coffee pot is a French Press. There were bowls, pans, pots, a colander, and spatulas and whisks for cooking as well as adequate dishes and silverware for one meal for 4 people, and of course a large sink to wash it all in. The bathroom has a bath/shower and toilet in one part and a sink that is accessible while people are in the shower. The shower water has great pressure and is as nice and as hot as you want it.
We were worried there would be noise from the road, snowmobile rental place, and fire station. There wasn't any noise from any of them and barely any traffic on the road (tho this was a week with very little snow). The neighbors around us were very quiet, which we appreciated, as we are quiet too. And you are within walking distance of the Lodge restaurant and general store, as well as the cross-country skiing and sledding area across the street, which we were very happy about. The views from the windows are of tall redwoods, granite, and the non-busy road; quite a pleasant view.
The bedroom and bathroom (shower & toilet part) both have doors that lock.
The wood fireplace was very nice; we used it almost every night.
This place is very well-stocked, with many soft and warm blankets, fluffy pillows, plenty of towels, lots of toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
The owner, Sarah, is very nice to work with.
We would definitely recommend this place.
