This beautiful mid-century design is nestled in the heart of Sandy Bay, one of Hobart's most vibrant and sought after neighbourhoods.

The North facing dwelling has floor to ceiling windows. the property holds a premier location at the front (one of four), ensuring privacy and uninterrupted water views.

The apartment has been fitted throughout with quality furnishings, carefully selected for the property. Heating is provided via a large heat-pump and a wood burning fireplace [wood is supplied]. Quality appliances include 55" Smart TV, AEG front loading washing machine and heat pump dryer, Meile dishwasher and Westinghouse oven and cooktop.

The second level boasts a mezzanine area with a sofa bed. Bathroom has a walk-in-shower with monsoon shower head and floor to ceiling white subway tiles. Both bedrooms have queen beds, high quality mattresses, feather duvets, pillows and high quality linens.

We purchased this condo style apartment when we came to live in Hobart, after living and studying in Japan for five years. Whilst in Japan I studied Japanese Architecture, and this apartment was partially reminiscent of some of the Frank Lloyd Wright principles of overhanging eaves, use of materials - which were noted from his time in Japan.

Our family enjoy mountiain biking, fishing, diving, tramping and skiing. This Sandy Bay apartment is the perfect base for such activities, alongside the multitude of culinary activities across Tasmania.

Lower Sandy Bay boasts an enclave of award winning restaurants, local butcher, doctor, pharmacy and local grocer. This area also has the benefit of connected beach - Nutgrove and Long Beach.
