Beautiful property and great for our family vacation. The house is gorgeous and had everything we needed to cook a wonderful meal after a day of wine tasting in the region.

Wonderfully spacious abode for group of friends or big family. Big enough for your own personal quiet spot to unwind yet cosy when everyone comes together for meals or games night. And easy access to the vineyards and cellar doors in McLaren Vale

Family stay for Wedding

This is the perfect house to stay in with all the family. Our son had his photos here with his groomsmen before the wedding and there were so many picturesque spots to choose from. We really appreciated the family time we had all together here.

Very comfortable place to stay and relax

House is very nice and private and not far away from anything else. We had our daughter’s wedding at the one of the vineyards in McLaren and it was perfect place for large family. Everyone loved the space and comfort after the big day of celebration.

First timers to McLaren Vale

Ponderosa is a beautiful house with gorgeous views - such an enjoyable place to stay. The location is excellent for exploring McLaren Vale. The hosts have thought of everything. We wished we had planned to stay longer to relax and admire the view.

Absolutely incredible.

The best of both worlds with ideal and picturesque indoor and outdoor areas. Communication was perfect and the house was just absolutely stunning, photos don’t do it justice. So spacious and clean. Would highly recommend!

What a home!!

Ponderosa is soooo well set up! Modern, clean lovely rooms with plenty of space for a large group. We love cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped and great to have a few herbs and spices available. Loved the cinema room and watching the sunrise from the outside area was a true delight.

Amazing weekend away

We had an amazing weekend away. Ponderosa exceeded our expectations. Everything about this property is spot on and was perfect for our stay. The theatre room was a highlight and spot on for viewing the Olympics. Being winter we made use of the fires. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you so much Michelle for making our stay a memorable one.

Apart from the front door not wanting to lock from the inside ( faulty battery operated lock) & a few light globes not working, we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with most of the kitchen aids. A nespresso milk frother would have been a desirable inclusion.
