The cottage interior is bright with a well update kitchen and appliances.It is ideal for 4 individuals and very short stays.The view from the dock is a real plus...and a fire pit for Bon Fires.The address listed on the VRBO site was wrong , plus we had to contact the host for the door code.

Apart from a rocky arrival -- incorrect address in the listing and door lock issues (mitigated by timely responses to our queries) -- the property was comfortable and suited our needs. That said, the deck needs needs some TLC. Did not use the hot tub or barbecue.

Our stay was perfect. The rental was just as shown on VRBO. Also lots of extra towels, bedding, toilet paper, etc. A great spot to relax and recharge. Would highly recommend to anyone.

beautiful view and comfortable interior, we enjoyed our stay overall! a few things worth noting for future guests: the outdoor deck was not well maintained, with spiderwebs throughout and visible decay that didn’t match the listing photos. also be aware that while the listing says ‘pet friendly’ in the amenities, there is a 50 pet fee that is not mentioned anywhere in the listing description, despite the description stating ‘no hidden fees.’ we were informed of the fee after checkout via security camera footage, which felt uncomfortable. would recommend the host update the listing to reflect accurate pet policies and fees so future guests aren’t caught off guard

Peace quiet and sooo lovely

We enjoy our vacations. Its a nice quiet place with beautiful view on the lake. Everything is there!! Super clean and fresh! We recommend this cottage to EVERYONE!

Beautiful and peaceful

Our stay was amazing, from the cozy well decorated cottage to the nice calm warm water this place has everything. If you want to relax and read a book in the hot tub or swim all day there is something for everyone. Due to it being situated at the end of the cove the water is calm and you can walk out without worry of it dropping off over your head for a long while. The host was attentive and answered any questions I had. We will for sure be back next year.

A piece of Heaven!

The cottage is stunning! Looks like a remodel job straight from HGTV! All we needed was our food and clothes. Dishes, linens, soaps, etc were provided. Host Sarah was attentive and responsive. Perfect getaway spot for some moms to enjoy each other without the kids. The hot tub is well maintained and easy to manage. This place is well suited to host families as well. Highly recommended! We will be back!

Cute place, clean, quiet. There’s a cute dog that visited and be prepared to be woken up about 7:00 to her barking at the door. The address on the VRBO site is wrong. The dock wasn’t set up and it wasn’t clear which water boats were a part of the property. No check-out instructions and I needed to email the owner the day of check-in to get instructions for entering. The beds are hard, less comfortable.

Everything was perfect except for check in!

We loved this spot and are hoping to return again. There was a hiccup in checking in because the app had the wrong address listed (it was missing a 1 in the number), and we could not access our messages (partially due to the buggy app, and partially due to spotty internet) so we did not know how to check in. Despite that,the owner was quick and gracious in her reply to our flustered phone call and the rest of the stay was perfection!

The property is fairly large and the kitchen looks nice, but overall the experience fell short due to poor preparation, lack of basic amenities, and safety concerns.The biggest issue was security. The front door did not have a proper lock, and our toddler was able to open it easily. For a waterfront property, this is a serious safety risk. The back door also had a gap leading to the deck where my child got his ankle caught—another clear hazard.Inside, basic essentials were missing—no kitchen towels, no paper towels, and no boxed Kleenex. The water cooler was empty and we were expected to refill it ourselves, which is unreasonable for a short stay. There were also no bath mats available (we later found them unwashed in the washing machine), so we had to use towels on the floor. The BBQ was not available, which wasn’t clearly communicated.The outside of the property was also a mess. It may have been off-season, but it looked like garbage was scattered around, and the area was not usable at all. We didn’t use the outdoor space during our stay because of this.Overall, the property looks better than it functions. It lacks basic standards and attention to detail, and the safety issues are concerning. would not stay here again. Families with young children should be cautious given the safety concerns.
