Historic Porters’ Cottage is situated only a short stroll to Dean Street and the CBD.

This quaint cottage has been tastefully refurbished – providing stylish self catering accommodation for your central Albury stay. Offering 3 generous bedrooms with comfy beds and crisp linen. A luxurious bathtub and shower, Euro laundry, well appointed kitchen, large screen TV, BBQ and an outdoor hot tub with spacious backyard.

An easy walk to restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

Strictly no parties or events. It is super important to us that our guests are respectful of our neighbourhood and surroundings. Keeping excessive noise to a minimum is very important to us, as it allows us to co-exist peacefully with our neighbours.
- Please note this is a no-party, no-smoking, and no-vaping property.

- Kindly respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum, especially in the backyard during the evening.

- Pets are welcome, we just ask that they’re not allowed on the beds or couches, please.

- Standard check-in is from 3PM and check-out is by 10AM unless a later check-out has been arranged with your host.

This was such a beautiful home to stay in. Brilliant location. We could walk right into the centre of town so easily, this does mean the traffic is audible at the stay but this didn’t bother me. The hosts were friendly and very quick and clear communicators. I highly recommend this stay.

Beautiful property, great location

The property has everything you need for your stay.. Two story with 1 bedroom on the first floor for accessibility and the other two upstairs. Great location within walking distance to the main part of town.

A Comfortable Overnighter

It was very clean, comfortable and close to everything we needed for such a short stay. I would definately stay here again. All communication with Jack and Nathalie was replied to promptly and friendly.

A great location and lovely house, however if youre planning on staying for more than a couple of days be prepared to have to purchase a few of your own household items. We stayed for 6 nights and although we enjoyed the house, there were limited kitchen items for cooking - simple things missing - like wooden spoon, can opener (although this was supplied after contacting the host). We also had NO liquid dish washing detergent. I contacted the owner who quickly responded on the first night to our request but instead of leaving washing up liquid they gave us more Dishwasher Tablets. I did message again to inform him of the mistake and to also bring to their attention that there was possibly not going to be enough toilet paper for our remaining stay and that a few other things in the kitchen needed replenishing. I also informed him that the dryer was not working - which made it difficult for us to dry clothes/towels as it was raining alot during our stay. Unfortunately the owner never responded to my last message at all and we ended up having to purchase washing up detergent, more paper towel, cling wrap and toilet paper. Again, I think the house is lovely - it just needs more attention to detail and to be stocked and supplied with better facilities. It was mostly disappointing that my last message to the owner was completely ignored - however Im hoping it was just overlooked??

Before and after the stay I received regular VRBO/Stayz electronically generated messages from the host which I tried to reply to using the "Message the Host button". I also tried to phone the host and leave a voice message to a phone number as was suggested in one of the host generated messages. Still no reply. So I can't comment on the accommodation but feel the communication was severly lacking. I am not sure if this was a Stayz problem with the "Message the Host button" but the phone message should have been answered.
