We had a fantastic stay! The house and property were beautiful, spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The fireplace was a lovely touch, and there was plenty of room for our group of 14. Any questions we had were answered quickly. We'd definitely recommend staying here!

We really did love this beautiful homestead! So clean, inviting and peaceful, with wonder that was accommodating, and grounding from arrival to finish. This added to our valued family memories that were created to cherish forever .A very special way for me to spend my 60th birthday. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Well presented and clean.Homestead had a lot of character and that is why took a lot of photos of it's charm.Everything we needed for a good stay was on hand and catered for.Location was very quite from any vehicular traffic and easy to have a good nights sleep.We were lucky enough to get the local hotel pick us up in a courtesy bus even though we were out of the area.Just one thing that the owner should know is that the side door on the left hand side of the house didn't shut or lock and sometimes blew open in strong winds.Strongly recommend for a stay to enjoy the peace and quite the homestead generates.

The house was utterly gorgeous. We had nine women away for the weekend and there was plenty of space for all of us - the beds were super comfortable and every nook and cranny is considered. A large beautiful table for our meals, plenty of spots for a cup of tea scattered all over the grounds and even lemons for our gin and tonics from the garden. It looks beautiful for families too and we all plan to return with our kids in tow to enjoy the cubby and the pool! Will def be back.

This place is glorious!!! Would definitely come back.Highlights were the outdoor bath and pool.The host was super nice and great on the comms. Plus, the house had great amenities. We were so sad to leave. Highly recommended.

We just spent five days at the Millfield Homestead with our family, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we booked, the communication from the owner, Emma, was exceptional—clear, friendly, and helpful. The peaceful country setting made our stay even more special, with kangaroos often spotted around the property and beautiful morning coffees enjoyed on the verandah. The house had everything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Great size house and spacious location

Lovely property and outdoor spaces. We had a big group of friends together for a 40th birthday weekender and the massive dining table was great, plus such a relaxing and beautiful location. A bit far from the main areas for wine tasting and restaurants so we needed to drive to get there but was easy enough to organise a bus hire to take around wineries

Country Homestead

Fantastic for our large family celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday! Plenty of room for all ages, great dining table for our celebration lunch and dinners, kids loved the wildlife and the room outside to run around! They loved the outside bath and everyone enjoyed the pool. Wonderful memories made . Thank you!

Making memories at Millfield

Our extended family gathered to celebrate my Mum’s 80th birthday. The house comfortably accommodated 13 adults and the combustion fireplace and ducted heating kept us nice and cosy on the chilly winter mornings and evenings. During the day, we enjoyed the nearby wineries and roo spotting from the verandah. One night we fired up the outdoor pizza oven for a casual dinner under the stars. Both the house and setting are delightful: we had a memorable long weekend!

We had an incredible stay at Millfield Homestead. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for our group of 10 adults. The surrounding property is stunning, with kangaroos in the paddock next door adding to the charm.One of the standout features was the incredibly well-stocked kitchen. It had everything we could possibly need, from proper indoor and outdoor serveware to thoughtful extras like glad wrap, scissors, oil, and even pens. It made meal prep and dining so easy and enjoyable.The homestead is truly a memorable and special place. Peaceful, picturesque, and with every detail considered—we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again
